Asked some questions about the process and chemicals, experiences, etc and was able to book him for the next morning at 8am! Pierre was on time and texted me to let me know when he was on the way (wonderful!), and he did an excellent job cleaning my couches and chairs. I have two dogs, a cat, and two kids so you can imagine how gross these pieces get! He brought all his own equipment including towels for the floor and water for the machines. He got right to work and was finished in just about 2 hours. He shared that he worked 10 years in a name-brand furniture store specializing in upholstery cleaning before starting his own company. You can tell he knows what to do when he first checks out your furniture before starting to clean. Pierre cleaned up all the furniture and it looks and smells great now, you wouldn't know we have pets just by sitting on the sofa. The cleaning crew was on time and they were very polite, and overall they did an adequate job I guess, although for $240 I would have expected a bit more attention to details... particularly since we'd not moved in yet and the house was empty of furniture. I expected *everything* (except the walls, explanation below) to be thoroughly scrubbed and spotless for our upcoming move, but my overall impression was less than stellar and I suspect they kinda just did their normal everyday cleaning routine, failing to catch a lot of the extra debris and dust from the painting and flooring crews. I am glad that Best Care cleaned the ceiling fans without me having to tell them; however, I would have like to seen this same attention to detail on the light fixtures, as well as the corners of the windows and bathroom floors. I also appreciate that the office staff was willing to communicate and set up my appointment via email (big plus for me.) Before any cleaning work commenced, I specifically mentioned to both the girl who set up my appointment via email, as well as in person to the cleaning crew at the house, that they needed to be extra careful with the walls due to the painting we'd just completed. Unfortunately, after the cleaning crew left, I noticed some damage to the fresh paint. I had asked them to clean the folding doors (for washer/dryer closet) even though the doors were off their tracks. During the brief post-cleaning walk-thru, one of these doors was leaning on a freshly painted wall covering a big scrape on the corner... I didn't notice it until I moved the door to put it back after they left. Nobody has been in the house besides myself, my mom, and the cleaning crew since the painters and floor installer finished their work... and I know for a fact the paint on this corner was not damaged when the construction crews left a few days before. They were VERY friendly and they were hard at work cleaning the window sills and bathroom upstairs. We left and didn't come back until the next day. The kitchen looked amazing and all the counters were great! But the floors weren't swept - AT ALL. And it was rather egregious with dust bunnies and leaves that had blown in, so I don't think they forgot. We also paid an extra $40 for grout cleaning in the master bath, but that wasn't done. It looked like they ran out of time? I had filled out all the information on how many bedrooms and baths needed cleaning, but I don't know how long they had allotted. I came back the next day to sweet and scrub the bathtub and grout myself. I let MyHoustonMaids know and the manager contacted me and refunded just the amount I paid for grout cleaning. I'd use a different company next time - especially for a move-out when you don't have time for them to come back and fix it. You get what you pay for, I think, and this company is quite cheap.

A lot of corners cut and just carelessness-- Moroccan rug sucked up into vacuum cleaner making a large hole, acid used in my stainless kitchen sink causing a chemical reaction that created rust on the stainless, scratched the stainless on my fridge (looks as if they used a scrubbing pad in it and if that isn't enough-- out fitted sheeted were put in the beds inside out and too sheet an quilt put on sideways. Just so disappointing. I wanted to like this company but each cleaning brought new problems and damages. The lead cleaner left her crew at my house without supervision for my last and final cleaning!
