Absolutely terrible experience with Home Pride. I've contracted them to replace a line of gutters on my house. The contractor went to the wrong address the first time I requested an estimate and made no attempt to call me when I obviously did not show up to the door. The second time he came at a different time than we agreed upon, luckily I was home. It has been almost two months and I still do not have gutters. The crew showed up at my house one time without notifying me, as I was leaving for the day. I received a call later in the day telling me they were on the way. They have not contacted me since. I have called the main office several times asking when my work was scheduled, and I was pushed off saying the contractor would call me. Spoiler alert, did not call me. I finally got his number and called him, and he immediately said he'd check and call me back. Nothing. I am in the process of cancelling my contract, and I was told several days ago that I would be called by an operations manager to finalize. Can you guess who hasn't called me yet? Called another contractor and I had my service scheduled same day, for half the price. Terrible communication. Terrible service. Overpriced. DO NOT USE. I have been spreading the message to all I can. Worst service I have ever dealt with in Omaha, hands down. read more

The workmanship was adequate and on time. However the business office was way over aggressive demanding payment while the final check from the carrier was in route. The threats of legal action against began ten days after I signed the final release and it was unacceptable, as I. complied to everything asked of me. I can't believe that they ever made my insurance carrier's preferred list. I will never use them again. read more

They did a major roofing job on my house several years ago. This last winter it developed a minor leak when snow sat on the roof. The guy they sent out said there was a nail in the flashing between two roof lines and the cost to fix it would be $2300. When I pointed out that the only reason there would be for a nail to be there was if they put it there when they my tarped the roof. They won't do anything about it and the owner won't return my repeated calls. I would never recommend this company. Follow up - a contractor friend came over and we went up in the roof to look at the nail the Home Pride employee said was there. There WAS NO nail!! The guy basically lied to get me to cough up $2300!! My friend's diagnosis? There wasn't enough overlap between the two sections of flashing which allowed the snowmelt to back up and leak into my ceiling. The fix? A quick dollop of caulk and voila, problem fixed. Cost? Maybe $2. So, to reiterate, I would NEVER recommend this company. read more

Horrible experience. Took almost 1 year to complete roof replacement and small interior pairing work and billing. Had to constantly email and call to get them to invoice me! Actually had to take off of work and go to the office twice because I could never get them to bill me. Would not recommend at all! read more

We needed a new roof and gutters. This was our first time hiring a contractor and it was kind of scary. Nick was very professional. He explained the whole process and thoroughly answered all of our questions. We had gotten several other quotes. We chose Home Pride because of Nick's knowledge of roofing and his approachability. He didn't make me feel stupid for asking all kinds of questions. As for the roofers, they were amazing. They showed up first thing in the morning. They had to remove a couple layers of shingles and replace a bunch of decking. And they were still completely finished in one day. Amazing! They made sure everything was nicely cleaned up. The gutters were completed on a different day. Once again the people showed up first thing in the morning and were completed before dinner time. I wholeheartedly recommend Home Pride!! We will be using them in the future for replacement windows. Be sure to ask for Nick, he won't steer you wrong! read more

I had them do some siding work on our home in Dundee and whilst some of it was well done, the replacement stucco solution they implemented didn't look similar to what it was replacing. After a few communication problems, to their credit - they resolved it to the point that we were happy. The owner Michelle was very professional in fixing the situation. I would just suggest as with any contractor project, you use photos / images of what you want the finished result to look like and document so everyone is on the same page before they start. read more

Hone pride came out a while back to give be a bid on some roof repair. After they inspected the roof they were going to get a bid right back to me. I waited a couple of weeks to call them back and ask them where we stood on the estimate and completion of the work. They had the audacity to tell me they were having problems getting a quote on materials from their suppliers. I found this odd since I have installed and repaired many asphalt roofs in the past and any building store carried the small amount of supplies needed to do the repair. So, at this point they were going to check again and get back to me. A couple of more weeks went by and I contacted them again to get a status update and they started to give me the run around again. Finally I chewed them out for their poor service and told them I would never use them. The next thing I know they showed up to my house uninvited and apologized and tried to hand me a bid. I told them no thanks since they blew me off twice and then lied about the suppliers to begin with. read more

My husband and I had a great experience with Home Pride. We contracted them to redo all of the siding (replaced wood siding with vinyl), gutters, and fascia on our home. They did a beautiful job. We had lots of questions (because it was such a big project) and they were very helpful. Home Pride also offered up some different design ideas, which we took advantage of, and we're glad we did. My roof was replaced by Home Pride in 2016. On October 5, 2018 I discovered a leak around one of the pipes coming through the roof over my kitchen. I called around 4 PM. They indicated that they could send out a person to repair the roof on Saturday October 6. To my surprise they showed up around noon the next day, found the leak and repaired it within 1 hour. read more

I have used Home Pride Companies Inc 3 times over the last 15 years and they continue to surprise me. 98% of the time my sales rep was absolutely perfect.! I had major hail damage from spring 2016 storm. I needed a complete new roof & siding & facia replaced. The representative Keith Woods ordered shingles he tried to sell me but I did not approve because I wanted the same shingle I had on the roof that was done in 2013. I came home to find my roof done in brown when I clearly told him I wanted the same thing I had. I called him right away but he insisted his product was better & I should keep it. I told him I hated it. I also had siding replaced which in my opinion is poorly installed. I have crank out windows that will not open now because of faulty workmanship in installing the window trim. Repeated calls have not been returned & requests for Michelle the co owner to call me have been fruitless. My deck was power washed & stained by Keith's crew & they over sprayed all my lighting & lawn tractor with stain. Everything has overspray on it. Some lighting has to be replaced because the solar sensors are coated & do not function. I do not recommend them, nor will I use them again. If my issues had been dealt with, I would feel differently but that has not been the case. I'm not one to write negative reviews but this has been my experience. My deck staining is already peeling off & it was done last fall & he said it was a 5 year product. Very unhappy with that as well considering he recommended this product & it was expensive but I planned on it lasting. Update as of July 2017: Siding window trim issue has been taken care of by Kat who called me & quickly got my problem fixed. She is great to work with & wish it could have been that easy to begin with! Thank you Kat! read more

I do not recommend them. Poor quality workmanship. They replaced our roof about a year ago. The first time it rained after that installation, we had a huge leak around the skylight, with water pouring in. A manager came out, said the skylight was installed improperly, moved it and resealed. Now, every time we get a heavy rain, the skylight leaks. Home Pride says it is not guaranteed because they didn't replace the skylight when the roof was installed. Now I have to call a reputable roofer to come out and fix their mistake. read more

I called to have a simple roof repair completed. The lady who answered was very friendly and helpful and I scheduled a time two days later for them to come out. I received a called 1 hour before they were supposed to be there and not only did she cancel but said if they were to fix it would cost $150 just to drive there and plus the cost of the repair. If that's the policy fine but they wasted two days (actually four because I have to wait through the weekend now) and waited until the last minute to inform me. They obviously have some internal communication issues. read more

I would not recommend home pride for a roofing / gutter replacement. Poor quality in the craftsmanship on the installment of gutters and down spouts , poor cleanup of debris , metal shaving left in yard cigarettes put out on driveway . With a name like Home Pride you might think the sub contractors would take pride in there work and treat the home they are working on like it was there own.
