I called the rehab place and asked them to cancel for me. They called later to say they had not been able to get through and that Apria was notorious for lack of communication. Apria texted me two months later to say they were getting ready to deliver equipment. I texted them in hopes that they would stop delivery. They did not reply, but then sent another text saying the same thing as the first. I figured I would just turn them away if they showed up. I texted again and young man called and confirmed that I didn't want the delivery. A day later a woman called asking the same thing.

I was first told by a not very pleasant CSR that they were on their way 3 weeks ago. When they didn't arrive, I called weekly and was told that they can't track the delivery because there is no tracking number, but they will talk to their IT people about it. Still no crutches. Called last week, was told they'd get it sorted. Still no crutches. Called yesterday and spoke to a nice woman who apologized profusely and promised a 2 hour STAT delivery. No crutches. Called today, spoke to another CSR who said that the crutches were not sent out yesterday but she would do same day today. She asked if I could pick up locally, then told me there was a branch in our town. Great, I said. Yes! She calls the Olympia branch to find out they won't do curbside pickups there, but instead would expect me to drive 90 minutes north to the next nearest branch. My surgery is now 4 days away and no crutches. I cannot state enough how disappointed I am with this company, and will share with my insurance company my experience as well. Bottom line, if you can go with another healthcare/medical supply company, do so to avoid the hassles.

BUT..... 2 weeks in, she dropped my husband on the floor/bedframe while transferring him to his WC. Things happen as you learn your client and they learn you, so no injury, we moved on. However, my husband is elderly and highly subject to suggestive comments. We found ourselves fighting all the TIME when this caregiver was here. Apparently, it became so bad that I was reported as being verbally abusive... And the company decided my home was too volatile for them to be comfortable sending in another caregiver.... They never asked me why these accusations may have been made, although she was being paid to basically sit on her bottom - vape-play slots on her phone, check her RING cam, and look at ME when he needed assistance! YET..... Once this certain caregiver was gone from my home, it was realized she was "suggesting" to him that I was abusive, he would be better off without me, I was just trying to put him in a home, he could get 24/7 care in home (false) through the VA, etc.... Since this agency is no longer involved, my home is peaceful & serene again, I have competent caregivers, and there have been ZERO complaints from my husband, the new agency, caregivers, the state, etc..... This agency could have been a godsend to my family, but they need to also realize their employees are NOT the only voice that should be heard.... They are drop dead cheaper than even the discount stores and often give away excess. The state has demanded they add tax to their sales so... They have an array of equipment. Much of it is way below market. My friends have gotten everything from canes to wheelchairs and walkers there and been happy with the equipment and cost. They are volunteer run so do not expect sales people. Neither are they brand dependent or loyal. What they know, they know from experience, not dealer training. They don't have everything all the time, but ask. You never know.
