Ken was on time for our inspection (in fact early; a big plus to us). His attention to detail was top notch and he took all the time needed to both carefully review our 3 structures and also answer my numerous questions. The service exceeded my expectations for both scope and cost. There was ample follow up also, after the inspection. As a satisfied customer, I highly recommend Four Point Home Inspection.

He's incredibly honest, personable, and professional--and he truly exceeded our expectations. He was able to schedule our inspection the very next day and delivered a detailed, high-quality report that same day. The report was thorough and covered everything we were looking for. Beyond that, he went well beyond the scope of a typical home inspection, taking the time to answer our questions and making us feel like he genuinely cared about our home purchase. We'll absolutely be using him for all of our future inspections.

They were dependable, they actually showed up when they said they would. They were clean, they didn't leave any mess when they were finished, not at the end of the day or at the end of the project. All of the workers were respectful of us and our home. Their attention to detail was tremendous. Sean was a fantastic communicator and we never had to worry about what was going to happen or when. He set a schedule and actually stuck to it. I have had a lot of contractors in my life and have never before had the kind of experience I had this time. I will be sharing this company's name and singing their praises to anyone who is looking to have any work done. In my opinion I do not think there is a better option anywhere.

It turns out there were items that could not be repaired due to the way the building was built and then it took over 2 weeks for him to get the rest of the repairs done, including holding up closing because he kept saying he had bolted the toilet and caulked the toilet bottom, this was not done until the morning of an already delayed closing even though Mark kept saying he had done it. This man is delusional! Additionally he was hired and prepaid in cash to provide an opinion and drawings on whether a wall could be removed and if not, then could an opening be cut into the wall. He provided a sketch with very little detail for removing the wall and NEVER provided the sketch for cutting an opening in the wall. He kept saying he would provide it but he never did. In the end, Mark promises much and delivers little. There are better inspectors out there and younger inspectors that don't get in a bad mood because they've had to crawl in uncomfortable spaces. Next time we'll hire someone who is happy to deliver good work and is pleasant to work with, Mark is not a pleasant person!!!

Martin is, with a doubt, the gold standard of home inspectors…read more As first time home buyers, my husband and I weren't sure what to expect when showing up to our first home inspection but upon meeting Martin, we knew we were in good hands. He arrived on time, explained his inspection process and let us know that if we had any questions, no matter how small, that he would be more than happy to answer them. He was charismatic in a way that felt like we were catching up with a long time, trusted friend and presented himself with an assuredness that instantly calmed our anxieties about the process. Most importantly, he showed a genuine enthusiasm about inspecting our potential home that can only come from someone who really loves and takes pride in what they do. He was meticulous in looking over every aspect of the house and called attention to issues he thought were important for us to know during the inspection so that there weren't't any surprises at the end. Explanations always included what the issue was, why he thought it needed to be fixed or how it could be a problem in the future. Aspects of the home that were technically safe and appropriate for when the house was built but not up to modern building code were also brought to our attention. Despite having to point out the issues, Martin was also thrilled to show us unique aspects of the home or share what he thought were positives about the property. At certain points, it felt like he was more excited about the property than we were! After the inspection, we felt confident that we knew the condition of the home, what issues would need to be addressed further and educated about the general maintenance we should expect to do as new homeowners. We received the inspection report within 24 hours and as Martin promised, there wasn't anything in it that felt like a surprise to us or that hadn't already been discussed. It was well organized, extremely detailed and a great reference to show other contractors exactly what issues we would like to have checked out further. He was available if we had questions or needed an experienced eye to review a concern we were having about other reports. Overall, Martin was an essential part of our home buying process and a key factor in helping us make the right decision. He was a knowledgeable and insightful guide that we felt was always looking out for our best interest. We trusted that when we asked him "should we run?" at the end of our inspection, he giving us his honest answer and that type of integrity is why Martin will be our first call if we ever buy a new home in the future.

The previous buyer fell through and the Real Estate agent claimed it was due to not being able to get the funding. During that process, the home inspection report performed by Taylor from the previous attempted buyer was shared with us.
