Mark Kelly should be ashamed of himself. He somehow has a General Contractor's license. He made and submitted a contract to me to bring several projects "up to code" This included work on my water heater and the crawl space under my house: strapping ducts up off the ground, priming rusty pyramids, and installing a vapor barrier), to name a few. The work was sub par and incomplete. Other workers under the house took pictures of the mess and shoddy, sloppy, cheap work he was supposed to have done.Absolutely appalling. I will see him in court soon. read more

I had a Manometer Study furnished to Mark Kelly showing the exact slope of the foundation from front to back on a 5ft grid pattern. This study was furnished by a reputable and local foundation repair company. The fact that Mark Kelly is discounting the problem and then avoids communicating over the phone to solve the issue speaks to his lack of integrity and customer service. A 1 inch crack in my home's foundation was missed by Mr. Kelly. The crack runs down the cripple wall and through the footing. You could see daylight through it from the crawlspace. He should at least try to rectify the situation by running it through his insurance if he has any. At the very least talk to me over the phone. We may able to agree on something before I take him to court. read more

Mark Kelley is extremely thorough in his process and explains everything in detail. I was fortunate to do an inspection with him and learned so much in the process. Once we were done, he hooked up his drone and got a ton of info about roof conditions. And then I got the most thorough 53 page report on the home condition to help with my overall picture of the home condition. Thank you Mark! You are fantastic and I'm so glad you did my home inspection. read more

We scheduled Mark for a home inspection on a property we are in escrow on. Mark was super available, answering his phone right away and being flexible to come on a Sunday (Labor Day weekend, too)! Mark was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything to us. He has a sense of humor and keeps the whole inspection lighthearted. Mark was thorough at taking photos and documenting what he found. He even had a drone to fly on the roof and see if there is any damage. We are so pleased with his service and professionalism. Just one side note, he left an issue with our potential home off of the report. However, we called him and he immediately answered, edited the report right when he got home, and sent it back over. We highly recommend On The Mark! read more

My buyer needed an inspection on a 5 unit apartment building in Morro Bay - we called Mark on short notice and he was ready and eager to inspect for us at a competitive rate. At the inspection he was very attentive and pointed out issues, and explained ways to rectify the issues, to my buyer. Within 24 hours Mark had the full inspection report to us via email with great pictures and explanations. When a property is in escrow and inspections are taking place it's very crucial for the inspectors to be timely in their analysis because buyers have a certain amount of time to do their 'due diligence' and give a response to sellers - Mark was great at being efficient and accurate and I would certainly call on him again to do another inspection. I also believe Mark is a licensed contractor and can do repairs. Give him a call!! read more

As a Realtor I love how Mark goes above with his drone to check the roof and below a home with his robot to show the foundation. He reveals problems in a high tech way. Mark is also a contractor and a certified mold expert which gives my clients another level of inspection and confidence. I am impressed with my Home inspection. Just 2 weeks after closeing Escrow I had a major leak in my hall bathroom. I attempted to adjust the cold water stop and water began flooding under my bathroom sink. After reporting the plumbing issue I was denied by my Home Warrenty Co. I called Mark and he wrote a memo to the Warrenty Company explaining that he does not include photos in his Home Inspection unless the issue needs to be corrected. Mark gladly assisted me in obtaining the approval needed and the Home Warrenty Company sent a plumber to replace the stops in both of my bathrooms. I am a satisfied Home owner and would have had to pay for the repairs, had Mark not stepped up and backed his much appreciated Home Inspection. I highly recommend Mark Kelly and would call on him in the future. read more

Mark is very professional, has many years of experience as a contractor, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. He ensured I was there to walk through the entire inspection. Mark spent over 3 hours on a Saturday night walking/talking us through current issues and explaining potential issues down the road. His explanations were almost too thorough -- the attention to detail seriously caused my fiancée and I to question if we should back out. However, Mark closed our session saying that he would move into the house and apologized for his attention to detail. The only negative I could give is that Mark gave us a description of his cooking that made us want to leave the inspection and go out to dinner early! Mark came highly recommended and after our inspection I can see why! read more

Extremely knowledgeable and really loves his focus on client education! Look forward to the next time!

Had a home inspection done by Mark. Had questions about the inspection. Mark called and was VERY CONFORTIONAL about the question I was asking. Simple question like how old the water heater is and what inspection was done on the forced air heater. Which can be Very serious issues. He did not inspect either one only a visual on the water heater. The Forced air furnace is located in the attic. Mark said it was not accessible. Which is not TRUE.!! I have over 25 yrs in the HVAC TRADE. All Heaters MUST be accessible for service or replacement.!! The thermostat had a low battery display. A simple fix to test out the furnace two AA batteries in the thermostat. I feel like since this a condo inspection that he did the VERY basic inspection. I was looking to sell a rental property in Goleta, but before I got too deep into renovating, I called up Mark to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Mark let me walk through the property with him as he wrote up his report. It was a terrific way for me to really get to know my own property. He is very knowledgeable and caught plenty of things I needed to fix. Things I wouldn't have known about and things that would have been a stressor once discovered upon inspection for sale. We called Mark with On the Mark a couple months ago for a home inspection. He was very accommodating and worked with our schedule. Once at the home he was very thorough and explained anything and everything that caught his eye. He made suggestions and expressed his opinion openly. Unfortunately that sale fell through. Fast forward a few weeks, we found another home and knew immediately who we wanted for our home inspection - Mark.
