Having bought and sold many homes over the last 30 years, and without going into detail, I'd advise a buyer, especially an inexperienced buyer, to consider an inspector from a different part of town with No connections to the area or the real estate agents in the area you are buying in. Research all inspectors well in advance on your own. A home is a huge investment. Someone who is detailed in code violations is helpful too, and an independent contractor who will give clear and accurate detailed information, the good, bad and ugly. When you hire Darrell you will not be disappointed. I checked out several companies in the area and they did not have the credentials and licenses they state on their webpage/website. Darrell has a contractors license, insured and also a member of Nachi. I have emailed him several times since the inspection with questions and he responds quickly. I want an inspector that tells the truth and that I can trust. If they can't tell the truth on their website, how do you know they are telling the truth on the inspection report?
