    I'll start by saying I'm a 200+ night a year diamond member. I've exclusively been staying at…read moreHilton hotels for 4 years straight. this hotel in Enid is clean and welcoming. No ill intentions toward the front desk staff or the condition of the hotel. This being said is the only reason why its a 2 star and not a 1 star. We use concur to book all of our stays, a lot of these stays are booked at the last minute due to the needs of our customers. In this case i booked the day of the stay. unfortunately it failed 2 times to book my stay using concur, so bypassing concur i booked with the Hilton app itself. Upon arrival i had 3 reservations waiting for me, even though concur stated it wasn't able to book the rooms. The front desk staff was very kind and informed me of this issue and that it would be resolved by the manager the next morning when she arrived. fast forward a month (work really makes the time pass) I'm doing my expense reports for this particular job, and i notice that i have 2 no show charges, as well as the normal stay. I called the front desk and was informed that it would be taken care of and I would receive an email in the next few hours when it was reimbursed. A few days later, no email. I reached back out and expressed my concern for this being taken care of due to my expenses being over 30 days unsubmitted. This is the beginning of the absolute nightmare of trying to get ahold of the GM of the facility being she is the only one that can take care of this matter according to the Front desk staff. As of today, I've called 10+ times this week and left 3 voicemails, and with absolutely no resolution. I've only spoke with the GM one time, and she was super rude, and acted like she absolutely did want to talk to me. also, she wouldn't let me explain the urgency of the situation, and acted like she had never heard of this issue. The front desk staff has left her note after note after note. So for her to say to me that she hasn't heard of my situation is either 3 different front desk staff are lying to me about informing her she is lying to me about her staff informing her she hasn't ever looked at her notes in the past 10 days I had my Finance accountants reach out and even they couldn't get ahold of her. My company card has been shut off while i wait on this issue to be resolved, meaning i have to come out of my pocket to travel for work. when considering that Flights, rentals, hotels, supplies for the job, and food is covered by my company card, this puts a huge burden on myself to be able to cover this while i wait for this to be resolved. I'm highly disappointed, I'm a very patient person by nature, but this has pushed me past my breaking point of frustration. i literally downloaded yelp and created this profile just to leave this review in hopes of this possibly changing the attitude and work ethic of this general manager. Honestly, call her and listen to her voicemail, you can even tell in her voicemail that she isn't fit for this job. Absolutely the most unprofessional person I've encountered at a Hilton facility. its safe to say ill never again stay at this location in Enid.

    I stayed here recently during the NJCAA Baseball tournament. I really wanted to rate the hotel…read morehigher because the staff are really knock out! Everyone was super helpful and friendly. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The condition of the hotel, though, was disappointing for a Marriott property. The room I was in looked okay on the surface but was really in need of a deep clean and freshening up. The grout and caulking in the bathroom was stained (moldy?). There was a separate toilet room from the shower room. It looked liked there had been some repairs that weren't handled very well. The walk-in shower was large. It only had a wire basket to put soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It would have been nice have a small shelf to put shampoo/conditioner and other shower products and a real improvement would be a small ledge near the bottom to use for shaving legs. Another major improvement could be a handheld shower wand...those are super inexpensive and make for an easy upgrade. The bed was too soft for my liking; I'm glad I was there only a couple of nights. The pillows were WAY too soft and I woke up with a neck ache each morning. Despite COVID, they were still doing the morning breakfast buffet. I typically look forward to the make-your-own waffles...unfortunately they had strawberry flavored batter in both batter containers... gross! Kids might like that, but least put regular batter in one of the containers. They had some fresh fruit and some microwavable breakfast sandwiches...they weren't completely awful. The hotel looked newish at first glance, but the hotel is tired and needs a super deep clean and proper freshening up.

Let me just start by saying that I travel a lot I probably stay in…read morehotels 200+ days out of the year so I consider myself somewhat of an expert and I firmly believe it always comes back to management. For instance, if the rooms are not clean the manager is not doing their job if the front desk staff are not helpful the manager is not doing their job etc. etc. So I want to give kudos to the manager of this La Quinta. When I checked in the front desk staff were super friendly and very helpful the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall I had a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a hotel in the Enid area look no further. This is the place. I will definitely be staying here again on any future trips to Enid OK.

    I reserved a room online with the Wyndham app at a set price. When I got to the hotel to check in…read morethe front desk told me they didn't have a room I booked available but they had another one but I'd have to pay more for it. I told her I wasn't paying more because I already reserved a room at a set price. She was probably 16 years old so I won't mention her name but she got an attitude real quick. I already suspected she was going to because when she saw me come in and I asked to check in she was already rolling her eyes. I asked for a manager and she said there wasn't one there. When I said I'll take a refund instead she said she couldn't do it and she would have to call her manager. I told her to do it and called her an asshole because she was being so rude. She told me to "GET OUT!" which I told her not before I got a refund. Surprise her manager, Gladys, comes down and cancels the hold on my card. Thankfully that was an option. The manager was patient which I appreciated but I don't think a child should be working front desk at a hotel. It absolutely ruined my night.
