Look at the photos for the condition of a rug they sold. At the Shoreline store, I purchased a rug that was tightly rolled and sealed with tape, so there was no way to inspect it at the store. When I got it home and opened it, it was in unacceptable condition: heavily stained, paint marks, and a strong cigarette odor. This is not an item that should have been on the sales floor. I brought it back within a week with the tag attached and receipt in hand. The manager Leonora did not start by looking at the condition. Instead, she went straight to finding reasons to deny the return. First saying there was no tag (there was), then saying they don't accept returns on "furniture." At no point did she engage with the actual issue. When I tried to show her why I was returning it, another employee inserted herself and escalated the interaction. I did raise my voice out of frustration (my voice carries) but I made no threats and was trying to explain a legitimate issue. Rather than hearing the concern or working toward a solution, the situation escalated quickly. The manager told me to leave or the police would be called for CRIMINALLY TRESSPASSING, and that is exactly what happened. Police were called over a return. I tried to de-escalate and offered reasonable solutions (exchange or completing my purchase), but the manager declined and stayed focused on denying the return and calling the police to have us removed for CRIMINAL TRESSPASSING! Even the responding officer looked at the rug and attempted to find an amicable resolution. My daughter, who was not involved in the interaction, was also threatened with trespass, which was upsetting and unnecessary. This should have been straightforward customer service: 1. The item was not in acceptable condition and the condition was against their own donation policy. 2. It was packaged in a way that prevented inspection 3. A reasonable review could have resolved it Instead, it escalated into a situation involving publicly funded law enforcement over a defective item. As a nonprofit serving the community, I would expect a greater emphasis on resolving issues directly rather than relying on public resources to shut down a legitimate concern. For a place called Bella's Voice, it was surprising how quickly the conversation was shut down. The executive director has chosen to ignore my formal complaint. My home's roof is fairly new and has no missing shingles. I responded to this false claim, requesting that they look into their error. Instead, I was asked for proof of the roof's condition. The burden of proof is not on me. Travelers was more than welcome to come inspect my roof and determine why such an outrageous and clearly false claim was made, but they did not. I cannot remain a customer with a company that treats its customers like this. If I ever needed to file a claim, I can't imaging the battle that would ensue to force them to pay. Because of this blatant, unprofessional mistreatment, I have switched to the competition.

I am a regular shopper and stopped in March 2020 and returned to shopping late in 2022. Lots of things had changed, and some things were still evolving at the stores. I love the way the employee who is on duty for self-checkout help is always friendly, knowledgeable, courteous. Within 2 visits I knew how to use the point of sale system and adapted to looking for and reading the signage (like, card payments only @ this register). Special mentions of Amber, Todd, Clayton, I appreciate seeing familiar faces of competent staff. Prices have gone up everywhere, and I am finally adjusting that this is our new reality. Sometimes if the clothing prices seem high in a given category, I know to look in that department in 2-3 weeks where they will adjust prices down a little or a lot, according to demand, or, I'll adjust to competing with other shoppers. I appreciate that the prices stay fresh: I hate it when thrift store pricers can't realize what is in style or in-demand with mass-market branding (unless it's priced in a color that's on sale, because that meant nobody was willing to buy it at a high price and I get the better deal). For example, Old Navy brand apparel shouldn't be the same price as Eddie Bauer, but much of Land's End clothing is too out of style to move at higher prices. I am glad that there is no longer a fitting room. Things are so much calmer and tidier, and the staff is more attentive and happy. I'd rather try things on at home, have time to think it over and see what else in my closet matches well. I can really be sure of my purchase. Coming back for an exchange also encourages me to take a look around and see what I should take in for donation. I wish we had 3 weeks to decide but I know the weekly colors get stale and it's not fair to them to hold on to returns too long, so I understand if they can't make an exception for me when I'm kind of late getting back to exchange. I didn't realize how much chaos came from fitting rooms until they were gone. People unshelving and discarding items, and I can only imagine the shoplifting this has shut down. All the labor saved in loss prevention and fixing rude, entitled people making a mess of inventory, much better. I find the whole experience more laid-back. When I want to find a particular thing, it's quick and simple. I don't need to check the un-hung discards around a fitting area. The staff is great, the stock organized, store is kept clean, the donation team helpful and responsive. They even have a cheerful attitude about closing when customers are so rude as to keep shopping when there's less than 10 minutes left to check out.

I tried to get the attention of the attendants to ask for help, not happening. So, I got out my box with books and bag of donations and put them on the curb in front of the car. Then, I managed to flag down a man and asked him if he could give me a hand. His response? "Is there something wrong with the bins?" I explained the situation to him, I'm in a disabled parking spot with a disabled placard on my car...needing a bit of assistance. He said he was confused and picked up the items. There seems to be a need for some ongoing training at this place because the obvious hostility toward disabled people is ongoing.

They do thoughtful…read morework to get to know the adult cats in their shelter, more so than other shelters, and PAWS adoption counselors actually talk to you about your wants/needs to find a good match. I could actually tell that they want the best for the cat and for the adopter, providing lots of information and resources there and post adoption. The cat we saw on the website was not available by the time we arrived but they had several options and we were able to spend as much time as we needed with the cat before deciding. I also appreciate that they will do a 24 hr hold so you can go home and think about it, pickup supplies etc. Highly recommend PAWS for adult cat adoption!

My assigned accountant was Mark, and he isn't as organized as the others, but he has since left, and the company has merged with a company in the midwest. It was well timed because my companies have gotten more complicated, and I was ready to move to a bigger firm. Still recommend them for small businesses.

I waited through a list of 8 people and when I got to the top i was randomly dropped to number 5 again. I waited again. the third time i was at the top, I went to the adoption center they said my name was nowhere on the list at all. it went on and on! I was there for 2 hours of this. I know that you are underfunded but really--why is this so bizarrely inept and broken? Just make a PAPER LIST and call us, like a restaurant hostess would do. We didn't adopt, but we will from a good organization. And the place we adopt from will also receive our donation money.

I was in a pretty helpless position as I was not due to be home for several days. My son came up with a great idea and checked online to see if our dog had been found and turned in to the RASKC. Sure enough, she was there. My wife went down the next morning, paid the fee and picked her up. She had been well treated, and we are very thankful that they found her and gave her a good safe place until we could come get her. My son said that she was so excited to see him. She cried and whined, and fell asleep in his arms in the car. Thank you very much
