There are about 12-13 kids in his class and somehow each drop off and pick up feels personal to us. The teachers are so focused on each child's individual needs and we feel very supported as a new family at LILA.

It was our first choice, and the last few months of her enrollment have only reinforced our decision to enroll her. I was familiar with the rigors of the French academic system as well as the IB program, and this was something we really wanted for our child. It's a very different and richer experience than most American schools. "Diversity" has become narrowly defined. But the international diversity of the students' families is unmatched at other SoCal schools. Yes, many French and Western European family's, as might be expected. But we have families in our class from Asia, Africa and the Middle East, for example. My five year old is already correcting my French (which is admittedly terrible!) and she loves the school and it's the emphasis on language and expression. The teachers are patient and supportive and providing a good balance between structure and flexibility.

It was about 70 degrees when we were there from 11-12. The blacktop was only a little warm but in the Sunmer / warmer weather I'd bring booties for your pup's paws. There is a whole seating area in the shade next to the school if your canine kid needs to cool off. There was a water fountain in the cafeteria area outside but due to covid it was taped off. Well laid out in parking area. We waited at gated lot on Tracy for a bit but walk through gate and gate to parking were locked at 10:45 so we walked around to main entrance on St George. There were 3 food trucks- 2 outside on St George, 1 inside lot by cafeteria area. The Bollywood truck inside was the only one with a Vegan option that I saw. This is nothing like the flea markets I went to back home in the IL/ IN/ WI. This is a lot of trendy "vintage" retro clothing but a good amount of vendors with candles, incense, cbd, jewelry, handmade bags, skin care like body butters, etc. Everyone was really friendly. The DJ guy was really cool- let me borrow one of his chairs to try and raise my girl up for an angel wings photo! As you can see she didn't want to sit on the chair.

It is devoted to the study of religion, mythology, philosophy and esotericism. Tucked back behind foliage, the PRS is located on Los Feliz Blvd. It includes an auditorium, a gift shop, a library and a lecture room above the library. The library is pretty amazing in that it looks straight out of 19th Century university with all books locked behind glass. Its two stories are all polished, dark wood and old (sometimes falling apart) books. Interspersed by statues and sculptures. This is the library for library nuts. It is only open on Thursdays and Fridays and all books stay within the library. You may, however, take photographs of book texts and imagery. The library contains hundreds of books on religion, mythology, mysticism and the occult. I could easily spend several hours here. The gift shop sells a variety of things ranging from what you might find in a esoteric shop (incense, tarot cards...etc.) to snacks and beverages. There's also a huge book area in the back. A lot of folks seemed to be using the area as a library, but I believe at least some of the books were for sale. I didn't spend any time in the lecture room or auditorium because there were no events when I last visited. If you go to the the events page on the website (https://www.prs.org/events.html), you can see what is on offer at any given time. This is definitely an interesting spot, though one I can imagine many visitors being somewhat perplexed by. It's a society that isn't devoted to a particular creed or way of thinking, but rather seeking wisdom in the plurality of faiths and traditions within the world. Definitely worth a visit.

When I looked into other schools, none of them felt like home the way Holy Trinity did. My husband and many of his friends also attended HTS and received an incredible education, so it means a lot to our family that our son now gets to have that same positive experience. This school truly stands out for its supportive and welcoming environment. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can feel the warmth and positivity created by both the staff and the students. The teachers and staff are amazing -- they are incredibly dedicated, always willing to help, and genuinely invested in the success and well-being of every child. One of the things that makes Holy Trinity so special is how approachable and caring the educators are. They create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing both academically and personally. The communication between staff, students, and families is also wonderful, which really strengthens the sense of community. We feel so grateful to be part of a school where the teachers truly care and where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive. Holy Trinity is not just a school -- it's a community, and it's a place our family is proud to be part of.

We had tried public and private schools previously, and this is by far the best school experience we have had so far. We are not members of the parish, but from day one have felt exceptionally welcome by teachers, the office, and parents. Whether you are Catholic parents or not, the school offers the perfect balance for children between academic and religious studies. And if your child has ADHD, in our experience, the teachers have been exceptionally supportive of helping our child advance in a way that fits him best while still maintaining a studious environment for everyone. And the students are WONDERFUL!
