I had initially wanted to get it without added sugar but I was advised that the sugar level of this drink was fixed. Fortunately, I didn't find it too sweet at all. The mashed taro is sweetened and the brown sugar tapioca pearls are sweet, but I don't think they added additional sugar to the milk, so I was a happy camper. The taro is warm, but even with the less ice I ordered, after I mixed up the drink it was sufficiently cold. Service was neutral, but efficient. The lone staff member seemed really disinterested in serving customers. I got my drink rather quickly. Although I noted I was the only customer in the store, lol. White Alley Bubble Tea is the only non-chain bubble tea that was within walking distance from our hotel room, so I really wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. I saw they were having a BOGO deal on UberEats so I got a regular Peach QQ for $7.49. Since it was BOGO I got 2 for that price. I ordered and then picked up at the restaurant. When I went to pick up, I saw they had daily specials for $3.99 for a regular and $4.99 for a large, and on Saturdays it was the Peach QQ, lol. Had I known I would have just gotten one directly from the store. Oh well, I got 2 and saved $0.50, haha. I got it 30% ice and no sugar. It was still pretty sweet and sufficiently cold. The tapioca were soft and chewy and they didn't get too hard even after I put the second one in the fridge and drank it 4 hours later. The coconut jelly was standard coconut jelly. I did see tiny fragments of peaches but it didn't have cubes of peaches like at some places that I like. Overall it was still good though. Service was courteous. Walking in I immediately fell in love. The soothing fountain, wooden elephant chair and massive wall lined with tea were the first things to catch my eye. They have lots of cool things for sale from tea sets, to pillows, to singing bowls, ginger chews and other tea merchandise. We ordered a peach rooibos tea and took a seat upstairs. You get a view of the whole shop from up there which I simply love. The two people working were both very nice and happy to answer our questions. The tea was lovely as well. This is one of my new favourite spots I think. I definitely plan on going back.

There are hundreds of loose teas, dozens of tea sets in every shape, color and design, as well as candles and incense. They even have Buddhist wares available and a few different areas around the shop to sit and enjoy the calming space. The owner was very kind and the whole experience left me feeling simply wonderful. Sawadee is a great place for gift shopping and acquiring every kind of tea under the sun.

There are even chairs to sit and eat outside to look at the water. The service is amazing and everyone was nice. The drinks and cakes were made quickly. Love this place!
