Would not go back. Went in for dislocated RIB. When entering office bent over in pain doctors dog was jumping all over me though he was a small dog it caused me more pain. After explaining my dislocation waiting in pain for the doctor to start my adjustment, he opted to try and start a conversation about doing a Biomeridian scan for supplements I didn't need. After getting impatient he started the adjustment. I have worked as an assistant for a Chiropractor before where I did the patient warm ups and assisted with adjustments. When he started the adjustment it was not what I was expecting and he ended up pushing on my back and doing "adjustments" to my vertebrate. After 1 1/2 hours of him pushing and popping my back I was literally crying and screaming in pain. When he was finished and got to where he felt he did all he could, I was offered a metal plate that was plugged in for some kind of relaxation therapy. The plate wasn't wiped down before it was placed on my bare skin, freezing cold which tighten my muscles, and I was later offered a medicated Chinese herb pack to help the muscles (which caused a skin rash and peeled all the skin off my back like a blister when I removed it). I was told by the doctor that an Angel had told him I might need it. After adjustment I started having unbelievable muscle spasms that crushed my entire rib cage and was told to let it runs it's course over the next couple days. I ended up in the worst pain I have ever had after that appointment and made an emergency appointment with a physical therapist in the Valley so I could at least take a breath of air without being sent into a screaming muscle spasm. When I arrived bent into a C shape, the therapist after his assessment asked if I had been in a terrible car accident and couldn't wrap his head around how messed up my whole SPINE, RIBS (multiple), and STERNUM were twisted and dislocated. After a couple hours of an adjustment from the therapist (which I NEVER experience ANY pain during adjustment) I was told I some how had multiple vertebrate dislocated, my sternum was dislocated in multiple places and I had multiple dislocated and twisted ribs. Because so much had been thrown out of place for so long waiting to see the physical therapist, I have been told after now about 2 years of therapy that the muscles were probably damaged and now have problems with those same & only those dislocated bones always needing to be adjusted since they now slip out of place which I never had an issue with before. I can only tell you what has been said and done to me. I still live daily with the effects on my body that started only after that adjustment. I cannot come to any other conclusion than I wouldn't get adjusted at Holycross Chiropractor and all I can do is tell my experience. read more
