Don't order from them to ship. First they called to say they didn't have the actual gift set I order just the bottle I ordered. Ok I should have canceled then but I decided to go ahead because I had been having a hard time finding the exact bottle. Then they tell me I'll get shipping confirmation that day, didn't happen. 4 days later I'm still waiting for my confirmation # and tracking info. I call to get info and I get hung up on, left on hold for more than 20 mins and then customer service rep was rude ass hell as if it's my fault you haven't follow through. Never ever again. I think this the closest wine, beer and liquor store to my house. It is also next to A&P and GNC so it is very convenient. Since I do not drink I am not a frequent shopper here but this is the place I go when I need to by wine for other people. The Wine Sellers of Holmdel has a large selection of wine and beer. The only problem that I have is that they only have the expensive wines in the wine cooler. Nice wood floors as well. I do not usually check prices so I can tell if it is any cheaper or more expensive than other stores. In NJ you have to buy wine, beer and liquor at these kind of stores. There is no wine and beer sold in the grocery stores like in other states. Luckily there is often a liquor store next to most grocery stores. Sometimes they are located in grocery stores. read more

I love this Liquor store! It's clean, well stocked and has friendly employees. They have SO MUCH WINE! It's a great selection and they always have lots of bottles on sale- including an "Under $10" section that changes every few weeks and has lots of good options. They offer tastings most weekends, which is how I discovered my favorite chardonnay ever! They always have it in stock, and I can't find it anywhere else. If you buy 6 bottles not on sale you'll get 10% off. Definitely try this place! read more

Great Bourbon selection, surprising even. The Scotch offerings were less impressive, but sales here are excellent. The store is reasonably organized, but their inventory system isn't well implemented. I ordered 3 bottles of bourbon on their website for pickup the next day, and not only wasn't it ready, but they didn't even offer two of the three items that I purchased online. The staff was friendly, though not tremendously knowledgeable. I would essentially go there for their sale prices, which were very good indeed. read more

Best liquor store around. Run by local people, selling some local wines too. They know a lot about wine. Just tell them what you're looking for or what type of event you have and they'll steer you to some nice wine selections.They also have a rewards program for those who drink often :) Reasonably priced and excellent selection. Rude and NASTY employees ! Such as the manager Shane . I had just gone in the store and went up to the register and Shane which I found out after her name . Told me to go to the other register . On my way to the other register which no one was there someone went up to the register. So I waited . The just before I went to the register Shane said can she help the next customer . It was just rude so I said you didn't want to help me ? She starts to laugh just like the other cashier . They continued to laugh and when I asked her why she was laughing she said she is just a happy individual. I don't know her name but she had red hair and she has an attitude and is quite rude . A gentleman came over to talk to me and tries to speak to me in front of the problem employees . I should have been pulled aside and had a chance to talk . But when the gentleman asked the girl who I don't know proceeded to tell the story . I told her that he wasn't speaking to you . She proceeded to scream telling me she can talk anytime she want to. It wasn't her problem and she should have stayed out of the situation . I will never go to this store again !!!! I suggest go to the Wine Academy or a local corner store you will get treated better! read more

What a great selection! Though I haven't had much success with it, they are sometimes able to order favorites they don't have in stock, such as Bell's Beer. When I need to bring home a liquor for a recipe, or a nice bottle of wine, this is where I end up going. read more

Very good prices..................excellent selection, low to expensive with many sale items. They also have several NJ wines, nice to buy local. The store is large, spacious, bright and very clean.........I hate those small dark liquor stores that still smell like smoke. People are helpful and they often have FREE samples (check with them for the times) read more

Even though there are several liquor stores closer to my home that are larger, Wine Sellers in Holmdel is my favorite. I incorrectly assumed they would be more expensive than the others and have been pleased to find on frequent occasions that they carry things I was looking for that the others did not. The people that work there are very nice and helpful too. They didn't even seem annoyed the night I showed up just as they were closing and politely helped me find what I was looking for. Although it is not the reason I go there, it is much nicer and cleaner than other liquor stores too. read more
