I asked if they did not push back and trim the cuticles to which she replied "$5 more. " I didn't want to cause a scene in front of customers. Went back first thing this morning and asked to speak to manager in private. The lady working was rude and wanted to know what I wanted. There was only one other customer, so i told her," I want a refund, my nails are thick, fat not shaped well and my nails hurt. They do not look nice at all and several friends said they looked bad also". She said they will soak them off and give me a refund. Her husband started removing my nails while she worked on the other customer. She continued to argue with me, even after saying they would removed them and refund my money. The lady she was servicing finally told her, " you are not conducting good business, you are arguing with your customer, all she wants is a refund because of the way her nails look." She then began chattering to her husband in their language. I was becoming extremely unhappy and said "that is very rude, if you have something say about me, please say it to my face, I did not go behind your back and tell about the service I got, and expect the same respect if you have something to say." The other customer agreed with my statement. Only after dealing with her this morning did I decide to learn a negative review on social media. I prefer addressing problems in person. She then got up from helping her client, went in back and got money and slammed it down where her husband was helping me, only after asking several times if I paid cash or card, and me replying I paid with a $50 and $5. The man tried his best to remove the polish and acrylic ,however there are still hunks of it on my nails. I apologized to the other customer, that she had to experience this event, when she was probably hoping to have an enjoyable time getting her nails done. She expressed that it was not my fault, and asked the lady doing her nails(the one that did mine yesterday and was so rude today) if she as almost finished, rolled her eyes as if she thoroughly discussed with this. I will not return to this salon. The stylist kept saying they had new owners, which from what I have read, is her and her husband. Very rude, unprofessional, nails looked awful.

We got in almost immediately so that was nice. But only one lady did all 3 of our manicures so it took forever. She was not kind or nice. She pushed gel manicure the entire time although we made it clear that's not what we wanted. She was very rough; one of my daughters and we're bleeding where she trimmed around our nails. Some plans we had made fell apart and we had some time on our hands so we went into the spa to inquire about massages and facials. You first notice how cozy and inviting the salon is and then you are wowed by the staff. Every person we encountered in the salon were very professional, and were more than accommodating. My mother opted for a facial, while my BFF and I had massages. My mom loved the facial that Kerry gave her, especially the little massage of the shoulders, arms, and hands. Her skin is still glowing from that facial. I am a avid believer in the benefits of massage and have been massaged regularly. I have never experienced a massage like the massage Kim gave me. I am in that stage of life where I am HOT (temperature wise) all the time. Kim used some cooling lotion on me and it was the most comfortable I had been all weekend. I reached a state of relaxation that has eluded me for years. Same for my BFF, her masseuse was Fran. The next day was our last day at the Resort and we opted to spend the morning having another massage before we left. Both my BFF and I are trying to figure out how I can get back there once a month to see these two miracle workers. If you have the opportunity to stop into the 702 Spa, I would highly recommend it.
