Arrived 30 minutes b4 movie time, 1:30pm. No one at ticket booth, rang bell numerous times, after 10 minutes went inside and asked for help. She said go back and she would get somebody. 2. I suggest hiring a usher/monitor to check your theatres periodically. Three different people was using their cell phones, texting and facebooking. One lady's as playing a game as her daughter watched movie. Went to concession stand, informed the girls and they just shrugged their shoulders. 3. Train those workers at concession, very slow service. 4. Leave house lights partially on while previews and ads show before movie. It was so dark we had to feel around for seating. So here's the honest truth: The place is run down. This is obvious by the out of order ticket booth in the front, the giant potholes in the parking lot, the bowl of hot dogs sitting uncovered in the Tupperware bowl on the countertop... among other things. However, the staff was a LOT nicer than the other reviews stated. We went for a 7 o'clock show and were told that we should go for the 7:30 because the other theatre didn't have a working conditioning system in it and it was hot. That was greatly appreciated. The popcorn was good and the drinks did taste a little funny but the drink machine seemed to be clean. The movie started on time with trailers before it. All in all it was adequate and not as terrible as everyone else has said before me. I think they're trying they're best, but maybe don't have adequate resources to keep the place in tip top shape.

Let's actually pause and preface this by saying it's my first time visiting these there them parts and aside from sticking out like a sore thumb (people were staring at my shoes!) I've now endured three days of "y'all," "god bless," and names with two syllables being pronounced with only one and alternatively names with one syllable being pronounced with two (Ryan is now rine and Beth is now bay-eth). The actual theater is pretty depressing from the outside especially being so desolate and with such a strange, long line outside. I took a sneaky photo from the "vehicle" as they like to call cars in this area (kind of like how gas is actually called the complete word of gasoline, or really, gas-o-leeen) and will be posting it upon my escape to San Francisco where I will be less likely to be accosted at an exxon gas station (like what happened in Louisiana) by a drunken Texan who started harassing my boyfriend. Inside the theater was pretty decent, nice new stadium seats, decent snack prices and the lot, but the movie we saw was out of focus and even after alerting the staff the problem was not totally fixed..Further, the poor young ladies working behind the snack stand were burning the dim light and I had trouble getting even one of the three of them away from the credit card machine which they were having trouble with. Additionally, the volume was very low, but we could hear the theatre next door's audio in our own theater. The only good thing about the experience was the reclining seats and food / drink tray. For the price we paid, I expected better quality. We could have paid less and gone to a nicer theatre, but we chose a more local option and paid the price. I ended up logging into Fandango and purchasing online so I didn't have to wait anymore, and I'm glad I did since the only concessions is right before the ticket taker. Matinee for standard is $8.40 a ticket, kids, adults and seniors. Matinee 3D tickets are $11.86. A bit more expensive than the Cinemark in LR, which has reclining leather seats. Only 3 concession lines were open, then one closed down that a guy was working (he looked like a manager). Lines of course, were long since it's the only stand in the place. No self-serve butter machine, so you have to be very explicit with how much butter you want on your popcorn. Young lady taking tickets was very polite and directed us to our theater. Theater was a nice size, sat in the last row of the front section and didn't feel like we were too close to the screen where you have to look up to watch. I like how clean the theater and bathrooms were. My biggest complaint was of course being the unlucky patron to have a rude lady sit behind me and constantly push on my seat. Not the theater's fault of course. Please open up more registers for ticket sales, but especially concessions when you have 10 people in each line. What would also help assist with wait times for purchasing tickets is adding kiosks so people can purchase themselves in case they cannot do so online, on their phone, as it will give them another option to purchase tickets.

I was giving free passes to use on another movie because the movie that had purchase tickets to see…read morestop playing, so I ask for a refund but they issued movie passes instead i was fine with that because I was told I could use them at anytime for any movie, well opening day of Lion King 07/19/19 I was told that I couldn't. use them for this movie, at the time I was issued these passes there was no stimulation on when and how I could use them. I think this is unfair to the customer the passes where paid for when I purchased the movie tickets for the movie that stop playing, so how can you refuse to allow me to use passes that was issued by the Celebrity theater. This really sucks never knew a movie theater to do this.
