It's hard to get excited about a bowling alley, and if it is this one then it is just that little bit harder.
It's the standard bowling alley situation, there are a few pool tables, air hockey tables and various arcade games dotted about as you walk in. There is a bland but inoffensive bar area and 25 or so lanes for bowling.
You can get food or drinks brought to your lane which is good but the general appearance of the bowling area is seriously lacklustre. There are a few strings of sorry looking fairly lights running horizontally above the lanes, half of them don't work and they look like some sort of afterthought. The far right wall looks like someone has taken a sledgehammer to it at some point and the overall feel is of a place which could do with a bit of freshening up.
Don't get me wrong, it's not like an afternoon in Helmand Province or anything. You can turn up, knock down pins and go away happy. It's just not the classiest bowling alley I've ever seen.
