In July 2016 we spent $5000 for a living room suite from Brown's in Lafayette and the location is…read morenow closed. We also purchased a bedroom suite for $7000. Brown's suggested for us to get an extended warranty and we did. The current issue is that Brown's in Lafayette, La is now closed and the wireless harness for the reclining love seat is no longer operable. In August 2018 we began the claim and was working with Brown's in Eunice , LA. On October 18, 2018 we followed up with warranty company "SERVECO International" and was advised that they never received the approval from Brown's in Eunice to replace the wire harness. We made several calls and the warranty company and Brown's in Eunice finally ordered the part. November 13, 2018 the technician arrived to replace the harness and discovered it was the wrong part. Technician advised that he would contact the appropriate channels and order the correct part. December 10, 2018 I followed up with warranty and Brown's in Eunice and was reassured this would be resolved. SERVECO International advised they were not getting emails and approval from Brown's in Eunice to order the part again. I did a conference call with Brown's and SERVECO International. Followed up on December 16, December 20 and to no avail the part was not ordered. On December 20, the warranty company offered an insulting prorated refund of $66.40 and in actuality it is $132.80 prorated refund if they do the math correctly. The warranty company stated that the furniture did not have the correct label on the furniture so they could not get the part. On December 21 I contacted Brown's in Eunice and was advised that on December 10 they sent an email to SERVECO International that they no longer carry the furniture and have no way of getting the part. Brown's in Eunice also advised that they could no longer speak with me because the factory warranty had expired. (keep in mind that Brown's in Eunice assisted with the initial incorrect replacement) In attempt to explain to manager at Brown's in Eunice that they are recommending these extended warranty packages and obviously knows that the company "SERVECO International" is not reputable. I attempted to ask her why initially Brown's was taking ownership and now they are not standing by their products or their loyal customer. She cut the conversation and commented "I can no longer speak with you" In the process of me compiling this complaint "SERVECO International" contacted me to tell me to wait 45 days and I should get the $132.80. The time we have spent on this situation is truly frustrating. BROWN's Furniture- My family has spent a lot of money over the years between the Lafayette, Opelousas, and Eunice location and this is very disappointing. At this time I have contact Brown's in Ville Platte, LA with the hopes that someone will do the right thing for a valued customer.

When I told them again it was not showing , they once again refused to give me a price. I did call them out in their poor customer service and not being professional.
