Got some great advice on simple stretches that have really helped. It's more than just adjustments;…read moremy doctor uses pressure on different muscles and joints and I fell amazing afterwards. Trying massage there for the first time next week. I'm in and out quickly, maybe a bit rushed on some days, but overall, I'm very pleased.

I've been going to Port Union Lawrence Chiropractic (from here on to be referred to as PULC out of…read morelaziness) for almost... 5 years or more. My chiropractor is Dr. Solanki and I can't really say I trust anyone else to crack my back and neck. Once someone has jerked your head to the side quickly to adjust your vertebrae, and you don't die, you feel a certain level of comfort with that person. So I can (without hesitation) recommend taking your chiropractic problems to the PULC and having a visit with Dr. Solanki. Aside from his skill as a professional, he's a good guy. Now a few extra details about the PULC. As far as I know there are more than one chiropractor at this office, but I never see them because of the time my wife and I both go (yes, she's a fan of Dr. Solanki as well). They are open on Saturday mornings but with reduced office staff. They also have on site massage therapists. The last time I was there I over heard the receptionist talking on the phone. "... all of our massage therapists are female." So for those of you out there who are calling around the city in an attempt to avoid a massage from a dude this could be your place! So if your medical coverage covers massage make sure you book early. Appointments for the end of the year fill up fast as people try to exhaust their coverage limits during the holidays season r

I have nagging shoulder issues from too much sitting at the computer. I had a few massages to try…read moreand help with my rehab of the problem but I wasn't really feeling results until I had a session at Massage Addict. I was able to make my initial appointment online very easily. I was able to pick the date and time I wanted, as well as the therapist. I left the therapist part open since I wasn't familiar with any of them. The owner of the store, Peter, actually called me before hand to confirm my appointment. Near the end of the year, they get very busy so he wanted to confirm the day before as they may have a waitlist. It was a super busy day for me so I wasn't able to respond until after the time stated on the deadline there but he made an exception for me which I was really grateful for. Peter was working at the front desk when I got there for my appointment. He let me know that normally they have comfy chairs and water out front for everyone but because of the pandemic they wanted to limit the amount of people in the lounge. My therapist for the appointment was Greg and he was amazing! I let him know about my concerns and that's where most of the focus was during my 50 minute appointment. I was asked about the pressure and he didn't go easy on me which was amazing. I feel like in the past some erred on the side of not hurting me but I realllly needed to be unknotted. I was a little tender after the massage but the pain was gone! I could move my neck without any twinging. It was so amazing! With respect to check out, if you have insurance, they can do direct billing for you. There is a separate form to fill out if your provider does that. The invoice that is printed has the RMT name and license number on it so if you submit by yourself, that might be enough. Peter also let me know that there is a membership that you can get at massage addict. The member price is the same as the intro price and you have to "commit" to doing a massage a month. He said that if something comes up and you miss a month, you just have to make it up by doing 2 the next month for example. I'm really happy with my visit here. My next appointments will be here for sure.

Front desk was great, RMT was not professional or good. Left feeling sore, not relaxedread more
