After hearing my daughter's account of what happened, we were left stunned at the complete lack of empathy, compassion, and basic patient care exhibited by Dr. Rao. The procedure began with Dr. Nagamani Rao administering a local anesthetic at Clear Lake Women's Center, but instead of waiting for the medication to take full effect, she rushed ahead as if her schedule was more important than my daughter's well-being. My daughter, in her early 20s, immediately told Dr. Rao that the area wasn't numb and respectfully asked for a few more minutes. The doctor, however, waited for a mere 10 seconds before grabbing the scalpel and beginning the removal, treating my daughter's pain as a minimal inconvenience. When my daughter spoke up once more, stating that she could still feel everything and requested more time, Dr. Rao disregarded her entirely. As the pain increased, my daughter, in obvious distress, said, "Damn, that hurts." How did Dr. Nagamani Rao respond? Not with compassion or care but with this cold, callous statement: "You can leave my office. I am not going to tolerate that kind of language. I can't just wave a magic wand and get it out; I have to dig for it!" My daughter was eventually reduced to tears--literally crying--in pain, terrified, and humiliated by Dr. Rao's response. She had no choice but to endure the rest of the procedure in silence, tears streaming down her face as Dr. Nagamani Rao continued with no regard for her pain or comfort. Ironically, by the time the procedure was concluded, the area had finally gone numb--just as my daughter had requested at the start. After reflecting on the possible reasons for this, it was clear that Dr. Rao's impatience stemmed from being 45 minutes behind schedule, putting her poor time management above my daughter's comfort. When my wife heard what had happened, she immediately called Clear Lake Women's Center. Although the office was closed, she left a message requesting that Dr. Nagamani Rao personally call back the next morning to address the situation. Instead of owning up to her actions, the doctor sent her receptionist--someone who had no involvement in this ordeal--to face our frustration. Dr. Rao herself never called, never apologized, and demonstrated a complete lack of accountability. Any hope that Dr. Nagamani Rao had even a tiny vapor of compassion in her soul was shattered. This doctor's cold, condescending behavior is shocking. If you value being treated with care, respect, and basic human dignity, I urge you to stay far away from Dr. Nagamani Rao and Clear Lake Women's Center. My daughter's suffering was entirely preventable, but Dr. Rao's disregard for her well-being has left a lasting scar. Don't take the same risk--seek care elsewhere.

She also has a really nice nurse. That's where the two stars go. Also, I've never had a long wait at the Webster clinic. Other than that it has been a headache dealing with this clinic, and hopefully I can help someone else avoid going through what I have. I don't even know where to start... First, I had to get a genetic screening because my first son is autistic. I was told my baby was a boy. A couple months later during the anatomy ultrasound we were told it was a girl and someone read the results to me incorrectly over the phone. Which brings me to another issue. If you go to the Webster location, there is no direct phone number. You have to call the Pasadena location and leave a message and then wait for them to call you back. If you work or miss the call, you'll end up constantly playing phone tag. This is how "someone" else had to give me the results over the phone. My doctor called me and left a message and I literally called back in 2 minutes. It took 2 days and no call back. I had to call over and over and someone other than my doctor finally was able to give me results .. the wrong ones. Over the course of the next few months many of my appointments were cancelled. Sometimes after I'd already reached the clinic. The reasons ... MLK day. I was scheduled and had the appointment card. I was told they called everyone to reschedule. I didn't receive a call or voicemail. I showed up. The office was closed. Other reasons .. Doctor's flight was delayed, ultrasound tech called in, doctor left early not feeling well, labor (ONCE)..etc. I worked through my pregnancy so I would have to take days off. Also, I lived a distance away. It was extremely inconvenient to get to the office to be told I couldn't be seen. When I brought this up to the doctor, she said "Well one day you may be in labor and I'll have to be there (she wasn't)." That was only the reason for ONE of the rescheduled appointments, and one I would've been understanding about. At this point I was ready to just switch doctors but other doctors wouldn't take me that late in the pregnancy and we'd already paid for the delivery upfront. We were scheduled to be induced on the 21st, however I went into labor on the 17th. She did not deliver my baby and I was not told why. Also, the next day I was told she wouldn't be able to see me. I was seen by yet another doctor who had to be the one to discharge me. I called a week later and asked for a refund for the delivery I prepaid for. I was told that they had to bill my insurance for all of my visits and then the remainder would be released to me if there was a credit. I was specifically told I was prepaying for the delivery. I was told to call back in a month. I called back in 6 weeks. I was then to call back in a week. The walls are super thin. You can literally hear the entire conversation with other patients. I heard very descriptive conversations through the walls and people's personal issues. Overall

Arrived early at 12:30 for a 1pm slot. Offices appear brand new. I was the only patient there. I believe they take lunch between 12-1p because I had to wait until 12:45 to be checked in. No worries. This clinic is new (opened in June this year) it has dermatology, plastic surgery, menopause (hormones) and med spa type services...Botox, fillers, etc Dr Snyder Gyno works at this location only once per week otherwise he's in Galveston at UHC (which is where I'll probably start going for follow up's) Because my hormone replacement therapy with HerKare has been sporadic and ever changing in the last 3 years he is going to get a full blood work up along with hormones plus a thyroid ultrasound. Dr Snyder is thorough and personable and has been doing this decades so, I'm hopeful I can get my female insides sorted out for once. Will not be returning to HerKare because already one of the medications they had me on, I should not be on.

I mean dang, I wasn't expecting that. She was transparent with me and even told me things that were hard to discuss. Of course, she prescribed me some medicine, but gave me the option to take them or not. The clinical area was clean and clutter-free. The lobby was spacious with plenty of seating. With my prior insurance, I had a private doctor who never canceled in over 11 years. There were times I had to see his PA or NP, but never total cancelations of days and times of appointments exclusive of a natural disaster. Not only is this disruptive to the patient's schedule, but depending on the provider type and appointment, I may have to wait weeks to reschedule or make a painful drive to another location. One cancelation is an inconvenience. Four times is incompetence.
