It was a great restaurant, but it has since ceased to exist. The food there was always great, and the prices were great.

Good food, decent service. If you sit in the front room it's freezing in the winter and hot in summer.

Good place for breakfast and lunch, but the dining room is kind of small. Has early hours 6a-2p but they do have dinner options on the menu.

Is it possible that this absolutely stunning culinary experience could be in Mineeva, Ohio?! YES!!…read moreYes,wow!! Worth the trip! Everything from the feta dip to the olive plate to the Chilean sea bass was absolutely amazing. The dessert after eating such amazing food was not overwhelmingly, sweet, but just complimented - THE perfect meal. With an excellent staff! Awesome view and music.

Bravo, Chef Gina! We loved everything about it. We came hungry and literally everything on the menu…read moresounded delicious. We had called to make sure they were open, as it was kind of a weird hour, between lunch and dinner, so we wanted to make sure. They confirmed they were indeed open and asked us how many of us were coming. We thanked them and were on our way. They were kind enough to have a table already waiting for us, all set up when we arrived. Parking was easy to find. I started to feed the street parking meter quarters, but soon realized the meter was out of order. (Aside: Can you still get a ticket if a meter is out of order? I really don't know the answer to this. Fortunately I did not have one waiting for me on my car when we left.) We ordered the feta dip, the soup flight, their signature salad with shrimp, the smoked turkey sandwich, and my son had the flatbread as his meal. Everything was firing on all cylinders and we were so happy with our meals. I think the French Onion soup was my favorite thing I tasted. So flavorful. Whomever came up with the idea of a soup flight is nothing short of genius. Also, wherever they get their bread from......great choice! It was so fresh and flavorful. The ambiance is simple, elegant, clean, and beautiful. They took the charm of an old building and added a certain modern flair to it, while keeping the history alive. We especially appreciated the beautiful old restored murals and the plush, comfortable chairs. Gina was kind enough to come out and chat with us for a little bit after we finished eating. She and her husband opened this in a short span of time when the opportunity presented itself, and honestly if I didn't already know when it opened, I would have guessed they had been running this spectacular operation for years. I've already recommended this spot to a few of my friends that I think would really appreciate it. Downtown Canton can be tricky for businesses.....I truly hope they stay here for many years to come!

We visited on a chilly February evening and all the fireplaces were in use. I love it when there is a fire, the aroma just adds to the ambience. We had the Bruschetta, which was quite marvelous. Very tasty. There is a wine list, but it used to be better. A bunch of lower tier options, with a smattering of maybe 4 quality bottles. We did order a bottle of the house red, and it is sweet, flat, and heavy. My wife gave up on her glass and got a house Cab Sauv, which wasn't much better. We should have gone with the Stag's Leap Cab like she wanted. Dinner was the Filet Mignon and the Steak and Cake. The Filet was excellent and the Maryland Crab Cake was delicious. The Steak with the crab was good, but underwhelming. Desert was a strawberry chocolate cake. It was good. Overall. Great place, great ambiance, good waitress, and good food. Final price was @$217 plan accordingly. That said, we planned and were looking forward to splurging. Yes, I should have splurged more for the better wine too We will be back.

Within the tavern you're greeted with original artichetic from the 19th Centurary. If you're interested in seeing the tools they used to build it, they're on display! With an ambiance that screams romance, the candle lit dinner certainly sets the mood. The food does not leave you wanting. You can taste the natural flavors that are complimented and enhanced by great seasoning. I've personally come to love the bruschetta and the beef wellington. Their staff leaves no room for desire! While I'm not a big alcohol fan myself, I've found that their staff is great at accomidating this fact. I have no idea what was in my drink, but I can only describe the taste like a raspberry tootsie pop. This is a restuarant worth revisting over and over.

It's packed but do not get impatient, they have this down to a science and you are usually called within 20-30 minutes or less. It depends on the line. The food is tasty, very delicious. The pies... yum o'lala. Clean, everyone is kind. Oh and the Amish families eat there, so you know it has to be good. Our guest ate from the Buffett, we eat from the menu.

There's a buffet or menu items to choose from. We got the buffet. Full salad bar with fresh ingredients, local cheese. Cold salads like macaroni and broccoli. The croutons were good, crunchy but not break your teeth and they had a variety of breads they used. Fresh bacon pieces. The hot foods bar had: -fried chicken (VERY good, highly recommend) -cabbage casserole (little too cheesy for me) -corn (very very sweet, interesting) -noodles (YUM!!!) -dressing (what they call stuffing, it was good) -bbq ribs (fall of the bone but I thought the sauce could be better, have more flavor) -green beans (basic, would be better with seasoning/butter) -mashed potatoes and gravy (yum!) We had good service and overall the buffet was a better deal than ordering something off the menu, especially if you wanted to try a couple different things. It was a good way to get a wide variety of items. Lemonade was very fresh
