It's always a good trip to an office supply store when I find purple Staples, purple envelopes, a…read morepurple pen, and can print my eBay label for $0.14 when I thought I was going to have to drive all the way over to the library and pay a dollar to use their internet plus $0.20 to print the label. That's what I call a successful errand. The girl behind the counter who printed my label was very helpful since I have never used their service before and showed me how to send her the label after I purchased it so she could print it out at lightning speed for me. I asked the young man at the cashier counter if they had any single pens and he pointed me to a large selection of them. I thought the Sharpie markers were kind of expensive compared to other stores but I bought a nice purple ballpoint pen that writes real smoothly. I left the store happy and satisfied I had accomplished what I set out to do plus more. Update: I've been back twice in three days and still leave happy each time. It would have cost me about $3.50 to print these 3 labels at the local library. Preslee gets an A+ for patience and know-how. Update: 7/28/17 I've now come in here 6 times and every time I have gotten wonderful help. Today I wanted to print out a little tiny label to save myself having to write it over and over and over again for a craft project. All I had to do was hand print it one-time the size I wanted and the girl behind the counter was able to print it out 15 x on one paper so I can cut it out and paste it onto the projects. It was well under a dollar for four sheets which gives me 60 labels I can use. If I need smaller ones I can bring one of the copies back in and they will shrink the size and print more for me. How easy is that? I'm changing my four star review to five stars because I've had so many good experiences in this location.

Spent an hour talking to website tech trying to process an order. This store won't let you email, or pay over the phone, but online system won't process payment. Waited behind 3 ladies trying to place an order with only 1 staff personnel in printing. Not to mention they don't open until 10:00 am. Not worth your time go to Sir Speedy in Amarillo!!

Sometimes a store has good vibes and sometimes it doesn't. I was in The Office Max over on Soncy…read moreand got nothing but good vibrations and pleasant helpful employees. I didn't get that sense in this store. When I first walked in the front door I saw they had Sharpie pens on sale for $0.50 each. Score! I grabbed a couple and walked around the store to see if there might be any other school supplies of interest or on sale, found a couple items on the clearance table, got frustrated because there were no prices on many of the items in another clearance area so how are we supposed to know how much they are or if they're really on clearance? I decided since I wasn't spending very much I would double back over and pick up a few more Sharpies. A friend of mine has been trying to get me interested in rock painting and I thought for that price I could experiment and see if I liked it. I don't want to be spending a lot of money if I don't keep doing it. I grabbed one of every primary color, 8 or 10 of them and took them to the front. The girl checking me out was nice enough but she informed me that there was a limit of three on those and pointed to the fine print in the newspaper ad. I told her I didn't see the ad I only saw the sign in front of the pens and asked if she minded if I slipped over to where they were, not too far and check the sign. There was no one in line at that point so it was fine. Sure enough the sign had in little tiny letters limit 3 per customer. Now why do they put it in such tiny letters?? Do they want one person after another to grab a bunch and take them to the counter only to find out they can only get 3 for that price so that the clerks have to be continually putting the pins back? If there's a limit of three they should mark that clearly so people understand. I thanked the girl for her patience before I left. She was apologetic and said if it was up to her she would have sold me all of them $0.50 each so that made me feel better.
