Yeah it's easy to say there's a kwik trip or holiday not to far down the road. Or if you're hungry and it's late night there's several fast food places that arn't too far. But Lucky's has always been the most convient for me while on my home at 3,4 or 5 am after a night of drinking and smoking. The ATM here is a TCF ATM which is nice because that's who I bank with. There is a single bathroom for paying customers only. During the summer they serve live bait, I haven't bought bait from here in years so I don't know how good of bait it is. The place is a little aged and not the most up to date gas station but that's quite all right by me. The only negative thing I have to say about this is one of the cashiers isn't very good at counting money. She takes her time and I've even had to tell her what to give me back in change. I guess basic math isn't her strong suit. She annoys me a bit but I don't mind too much. Overall, this small gas station has been a convient stop in my neighborhood for over 20 years. Don't change Lucky's, don't change.

The cashier began to argue with me. She finally said "you'll have to wait for me to fix it". I thought she was only to help the customers that were already forming a line but NO she helped everyone who had just walked in. I said are you really going to make me wait. She said "yes I am". I replied to don't think that's fair. She yelled MA'AM I'm only one person. I said I understand but this was your mistake and I don't think I should have to wait this long. She again yelled MA'AM & still continued to help people who just walked in the door. I now become very frustrated and just said fine I will just pay for my gas. I told her I was disappointed with the customer service that I received. She (again yelling at me) says "I provided great customer service now get out of my store. After I got into my car and drove away I realized she charged me an extra $2 for my gas. Needless to say I will never return to my neighborhood convenience store

Non-oxy gas is pricey but you will know the difference the first time to use it and the first time you have to by 'regular' gas when you can't find Bill's. We make regular trips to fill up on this gas and always keep a small amount on hand in case of an emergency.

I've been fighting a low tire pressure light this winter and I stop in every week to fix. (I'll need to get that looked at sooner rather than later. ) Everytime I visit, the store is clean and stocked. I see many workers both behind the counter and on the floor...all friendly and helpful. I like that they have a variety of coffee machines (hot, iced, blended). And I like the way they have their grab n go foods displayed (sandwiches, salads, fruit, meat/ cheese sticks). Sometimes I'll stop in on the way home Friday afternoon to grab a take n bake pizza for dinner. Also love their giant cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning brunch. As I write this we are at the end of Week 1 of the COVID-19 pandemic. I had to get out of the house. Gas is affordable! But no place to go. I know Kwiktrip used to be a grocery store so I stocked on some supplies. (I took one look at the Walmart parking lot and was like "nope"!) Bread, milk, eggs, pancakes mix, coffee creamer, stuffed chicken. Their groceries are affordable, no mark up Corporate gas station prices. What they didn't have I just went to Festival Foods next door. It's not common for gas stations to have shopping CARTS. Before, I thought this was odd. Who needs a cart. Today I understand.
