I requested that someone schedule via text so that I can schedule the consultation for when my husband is able to talk, since I'm not. The response I got, over and over and over, was that they're not able to text me to schedule. This is a pretty reasonable request. They're able to respond in real time (via text - we were already texting) but not schedule? Absurd. The alternative was to tell me to come into the office. Again, I'm DISABLED. I can't come in. I can't talk. It should not be difficult to put me on your calendar via text for when my husband is available. Discriminatory. They will not work with you. If they can't even do something as basic as have a conversation about scheduling via text, they're certainly not going to go to bat for you with anything else. It was only after I told them this was discrimination and threatened to file a lawsuit that they were suddenly capable of scheduling via text. But I don't think I will go with them. It was already difficult enough to just get a basic accommodation that I have no faith they'll stand up for me. And they'll likely respond to this with some offer to assist to make themselves look better, but I've tried to work with them for over a month now. That's not gonna change because of a review. After reading this same review on Google, the attorney canceled my appointment. They also had Google take it down. So seriously - don't go here. They're retaliatory and apparently dishonest.

I hired Justin Bowen for my divorce atty. First, I should have been leary of his reviews on his…read morewebsite. There were 3, all with 5 stars, which now makes me think he controls what reviews go on his website. Please beware!! At the first meeting, he made great promises, he had the answer to everything I was looking for. I spent about an hour and a half with his paralegal, going over and making copies of everything I had and what was asked of me. After not hearing anything back in a while, I decided to call, which was always difficult because he rarely returned my phone calls or emails. I found out that the paralegal I had been working with was no longer employed there. This is when my case went in the gutter. He had gone through 3 paralegals during my case alone. I was even told by the opposing lawyer's paralegal that the reason he kept losing paralegals was because it was a total zoo (not the words he really used) there and nobody knew what anyone was doing. I had to remind him constantly about what I wanted to accomplish with my case. All the promises were just empty promises. He had a subpoena sent to my husband for a deposition where he was supposed to bring proof, receipts, ect. to show where $20,000 went. (this was one of the most important parts of my case) My husband didn't bring anything with him, not one receipt! Justin, acting like a beaten puppy did nothing. This of course I had to pay for! Then there was more than half a day of mediation, where anything I asked for that wasn't agreed to by my husband, I just lost out. I swear he was working for the other side, not once did he ever fight for me . He acted like he was totally intimidated by my husband's attorney, who was known as a "pitbull" lawyer, and he was! I was charged for having to send papers to the new paralegals, over $700.00 for mediation, that got me nothing, and the useless deposition. After 24 years of my marriage, I have a bunch of crap that my husband got to pack up for me, not myself, in a 5X7 storage. I have no furniture or appliances. My husband got MY house That I used my early inheritance to get. (which didn't matter) fully furnished. This man completely ruined my entire life. In the end, after giving me what I thought was my total charges, he added an extra $2000,00 for emails and phone calls! He took me to his bank, had my check that was written to me, put in his account and took out his total. I had no choice in the matter! The $22,500 that I was supposed to get, turned out to be about $16,000. I do plan on filing a complaint on him for the lousy job and the ridiculous amount of money he took from me. Please do your homework before you hire someone who has the power to ruin your life!

Bryan is quite in tune with the ever changing and growingly confusing rule of law and is a master of codification. He made detailed notes at consultation and also as things progressed. He thoroughly does his homework, gives accurate and wise advice in real time as new issues arise, is very professional, formulates a comprehensive strategy and "goes for the throat". I was VERY weary of hiring the wrong lawyer when I began my search for representation because of all the horror stories online and everywhere else. I had actually wasted money having multiple consultations before meeting with Bryan. Before I hired Bryan, I had trouble sleeping at night. I hired Bryan on the spot after my consultation and could finally get a good nights rest. He is not cheap by any means but the VALUE he brings to your litigation is insurmountable. I'd rather have my daughter than anything else on earth. It's just money, you can always make more; but your children are irreplaceable!!! If you feel the same way about your children, then Bryan Lee Ciyou is the representation that you want (need) in your corner. Bryan is hands down the APEX of complex litigation. All of his staff members are top tier talent as well, they actually saved me money by taking care of a lot of the paperwork and even drafting up some of the more advanced motions to file that staff at other firms might not be qualified to do. In my experience, the law offices of Ciyou and Dixon are a slam dunk!!! Thank you Bryan and staff, keep up the phenomenal work!!!!
