Sometimes dry cleaners damage your items. It is an acceptable risk when you hand your garments…read moreover to professionals that something may occur beyond their control that your items are damaged. That being said, Holiday Cleaners is HORRIFIC when it comes to customer service and damage control in this regard. They offered a refund on a destroyed garment I submitted to them. A refund for the cleaning. When I requested a store credit for future business or something similar equal to a negotiable price of the clothing I was met with HOSTILITY. The manager knew I was military and threatened to call my "First Commander" (whatever that is) on me for being "A pain in the ass". Yesterday I received a custom order of beautiful dresses and skirts from Nigeria that I had been…read moreexcitedly waiting on since I ordered them on Black Friday in November! As I ripped open the box I mentally pictured me wearing each article of clothing and swished and swayed in front of my mirror. After trying on each item, I quickly placed it to the side to try on the next! My excitement turned into panic when I put on my dress and tugged on the zipper that wouldn't budge past my lower back [WTH (heck)?!?!]. I grabbed my tape measurement and confirmed my measurements were still the same. At 125lbs I knew I couldn't stand to lose 10 more to get into the dress so I decided to visit a local seamstress to have the sides of the dress let out. As is custom when looking for "Recommendations", I sent out a request on Facebook and within seconds I was told to visit "Quality Embroidery". I called and spoke with Irma who said that I could bring the dresses in immediately. Once there, I tried on both dresses and learned that I only needed a little help zipping one of the dresses up -- problem solved! On the second dress we were not so lucky as the dress was too small in the bust area. After some thought, Irma asked if she could measure the dresses and "lo and behold" we quickly determined the dress was actually made smaller than my original request! She looked at me with a "know all things Seamstress" look and said, "I think you deserve a refund". She held her measuring tape over the dresses for comparison and I took photos and sent them to the seamstress in Nigeria right in front of her! Today, I received a response on Etsy from the seamstress who eventually conceded that the dress was smaller than intended and she is remaking the dress for free! I agreed to pay the shipping of the new dress because she simply asked that I gift the dress to a loved one that was able to wear it! I am so glad that I visited Quality Embroidery and highly recommend their services to all! Until the next alterations emergency!

They offered to have them for me later that day (it was a Friday) so I could have them for the weekend. I told them I'd pick them up after work the following Monday. Showed up on Monday and they hadn't even started. No worries, I'll get them later. Picked them up on Friday and I was so disappointed. There was still dirt on both pairs of boots, the cream-colored embroidery on the one pair was so brown, I won't be able to wear them again. They're ruined. When I pointed it out to him, he stated it couldn't be cleaned (oh, really?!!?). But is there a reason why it's browner??? I'm so very disappointed. The cayman inlay boots needed more attention to detail. You can still see dirt in the crevasses. And the sole stitching...NO attention was given to that. Again, I can't state it enough, I am so very disappointed. I took the boots in because of the decent reviews. Like I said, the one pair of boots is ruined. I'll never be able to wear them again.
