Alan Walker) in Oslo, Norway during July 8th and 13 (9 seats passengers) July 9 ~13 (7seats passengers). I am a Korean American business man who rented a 9 and 7 passengers van from this crooks and they took 1600 extra euros for an excuse of saying that we did have 2 reservations and just used one and other has to be charged almost 240 Euros as penalty. They call me from Norway telling me that it would not have a cancellation fee since we are renting 2 vehicles. But on the next day, I received an email saying that we will get this fee (it changed maid instantly) It will not be refunded this amount, according to their statement, but I was never aware that we would pay 20% miserable penalty for double booking and they have never told us that this would happen neither at their web nor in the emails where we exchanged during the rental process. They withdraw 1600 Euros from our credit card and they are still holding it and has been almost 10 days (it happen on July 9th) plus we have spend more than 2000 euros in renting their vehicle for only 4~5 days. Do not ever leave your credit card number here b/c you will be sucked like a dust in a vacuum machine. We are going to fight till end and have filled complain to Norway consumer protection center and we are going to prevent others wouldn't have to go to all this process. It's for the consumer rights and protection and clearly they have violated in which we have all the evidence kept in our emails. I please to the community to not rent anything from this company because they don't even deserve neither one star... for lack in courtesy, promises, after services and not even invoices aren't clear and they just charge the amount according to their criteria. This was especially given that we had paid £1,750 for a two week rental. Three times we experienced a loss of power on our VW Carravelle. The final occasion occurred as we were going through a hill tunnel and when we stopped we saw that the accelerator pedal was only attached by one remaining screw - it seems it had been working its way off throughout our trip! Despite numerous attempts to get some kind of response from Rent-a-Wreck they have ignored me every time. Absolutely shocking customer service. We would no longer recommend this company unless you are happy for the vehicle to fall apart whilst driving! Previously we had an exhaust drop off and various seatbelts fail to work!

The Car DL-89781 was in worst condition, Car breaks were loose. This is major risk during long drive, especially on Norway mountain roads. 2. Front passenger window was not working. 3. Wheel alignment is not set, the whole car shakes at around 80-90+ kmph on highways. 4.After starting the engine, it was giving some strange smell in the car. Probably windshield solution smell. 5. Generally, tourist expects minimum working systems in the car, however, the car systems/features such as Radio, CD-Players, GPS etc. were NOT working. 6.Car AC is wasn't cooling enough, we had to drive with open windows. 7. Our online booking showed cost of €249, but we were charged €349 eur as they changed the contract when we went to pick the car. We are disappointed with the car condition and the service we got at the Airport.
