I had shown her some inspo photos and I feel like she totally grasped the editing and style we were wanting. We really appreciated Danielle for taking the time to meet with us before our big day. She has such helpful pointers and prompts that made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera really quickly. For our wedding day, she and her photography partner were AMAZING. We ended up buying an extra hour or two and it was so worth it to have getting ready photos. She was such a fun part of the day. After having a great call with him to go over our vision and how he works with us to make it happen, he gave us a worksheet to fill out. The worksheet was very important in the planning process and helped us choose songs and music for all the particular moments of the day (many things we hadn't even thought about before looking over this worksheet). Dan came for a site visit so he knew what type of equipment he'd need and to understand the flow of the day. He set up and handled all of the speakers, microphones and equipment. And most importantly he had the guests on the dance floor the whole night. It was the best! We highly recommend DJ Dan for your wedding or party needs!

I unfortunately ran late so our timeline was pushed back and I wished we had more dancing but that's not his fault and I truly feel like I got to balance my time well- I did all the things! Photo booth, dancing, outfit change, mingled with everyone. It was a beautiful day/night! He even left me with a cord to help continue to play music from my laptop when his time was up. Looking back, I honestly wish I just paid for an extra hour of his time for more dancing!

From the very beginning, Alison took the time to get to know us, understand our vision, and learn what was most important to us. She truly listened, and then executed everything more perfectly than we could have imagined. When we finally sat down to look through our wedding gallery, we were completely blown away. Every photo is absolutely beautiful. One of the things we appreciated most was how Alison and Amy captured not only all of the big moments, but also the countless little in-between moments that we either weren't together for or didn't even realize were happening. Looking through the gallery allowed us to experience our wedding day from a whole new perspective and brought us right back to every emotion we felt. The photos tell the story of our day so naturally and beautifully, and we'll treasure them for the rest of our lives. We are beyond grateful for the care, talent, and attention to detail that Alison and Amy put into capturing our wedding. We interviewed a half dozen wedding photographers, and after a whirlwind experience I can confidently say that J & D are the most communicative and easy to work with. They have a can-do attitude and bring a low key sense of humor and enthusiasm to their projects. Everybody got along easily with them. Their equipment they use gave them a lot of options for getting great shots, they knew when to take advantage of good lighting, and they were SO kind about the few time they asked us to pose in the moment--a quick, "hey look over here!". Those quick and easy moments all paid off ... now that we have the shots we can see why they went for it. They included engagement photos in their package, and that shoot was a super fun adventure, everybody was in a good mood, so of course we got great photos that we'll have forever. I can't emphasize enough how many of the OTHER photographer candidates we interviewed came to their projects with an attitude like, 'this is how WE do things', or asking intrusive personal questions, or making us come down to their office for a sales pitch... J & D don't do ANY of that. They came to us, they're easy to work with, they made a lot of great game time decisions, and we have photos of everything we want, and they look great. What more could we ask for? Thanks J & D!

They photographed our wedding this past June in…read moreBig Sur and we could not have found photographers with more warmth, heart, patience, flexibility, and, above all things, the most beautiful results. Like many other reviewers, when looking for a photographer, we wanted an approach that was more journalistic, but still had an editorial bent. In other words, we didn't want a ton of posed photos, but instead wanted moments captured in a beautiful, subtle, and elegant way. I came across a photo that Jaime took of a row of grandparents laughing, and knew almost right then and there that I would want to work with them. I loved the process of talking and even negotiating with Jaime and Dennis. From the get go, they were interested in who we are, our lives, and what we wanted out of our photographs. I got the sense that they don't take cookie-cutter approaches to wedding photography, and love that philosophy. They both worked with us to come up with a package that fit our budget and made sense for everyone, always being extremely responsive and professional. On our wedding weekend, Dennis and Jaime were phenomenal. They blended in seamlessly with our guests and vendors, would get into any position for great photos (at some point I was scared Dennis was going to fall off a cliff), and cared enough in the flow of the day to not take us away from the party for too long, yet long enough so that we got beautiful shots. Beyond that, Jaime actually was extraordinary in helping with little things, like when the train of my dress got dirty from walking on the street - she had all sorts of ideas on how we could get the marks out, and went out of her way to do so. When we got the images a mere 2 weeks later (!!), I was blown away. The images were so special and captured spontaneous moments not just of us but also of our guests. There are so many photos I want to frame and two months later, I still go through them every week or so because of how beautiful they are. In sum, all I can really say to people considering Viera Photographics is: Hire Jaime and Dennis now, before their schedules get booked up! You won't be sorry!

Tammy is one of those people. She is an incredible photographer. She notices light, angles, expressions, and tiny details that other people would completely miss, and somehow turns those moments into beautiful images that actually feel like the day. She is also just a wonderful person to work with. She is kind, reliable, easygoing, and really understood our vision. We did not want to spend hours posing for photos or feel like we were missing our own wedding. We wanted to be present, spend time with our friends and family, and have the day captured as it naturally unfolded. Tammy completely got that. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel SO relaxed throughout the entire process. She made our families feel comfortable too, and she was amazing at navigating the chaos of an Indian wedding with more than 250 guests. She also brought a second shooter who was wonderful. We were already so happy with the photos from our engagement shoot, and the highlight images we have received from the wedding are absolutely beautiful. If what you care about most is capturing people, their reactions, their emotions, and the actual love and joy of a wedding, rather than spending the whole day posing, Tammy is your person.
