We hired DJ Dan for our wedding last June. He was fantastic and communicative from start to finish. Wedding planning can be pretty overwhelming and having Dan help us organize the flow of the day was so great. After having a great call with him to go over our vision and how he works with us to make it happen, he gave us a worksheet to fill out. The worksheet was very important in the planning process and helped us choose songs and music for all the particular moments of the day (many things we hadn't even thought about before looking over this worksheet). Dan came for a site visit so he knew what type of equipment he'd need and to understand the flow of the day. He set up and handled all of the speakers, microphones and equipment. And most importantly he had the guests on the dance floor the whole night. It was the best! We highly recommend DJ Dan for your wedding or party needs! read more

We met DJ Dan at a wedding expo and are so grateful for that! We had no plans of hiring a DJ until we ran into him. He also came with an actual old-school photobooth, not one of those Ipad on a sticks with a big ring light situation. Dan and Debbie were great/easy to work with and I was surprised how fun our wedding was! I didn't expect everyone to have such a great time dancing! I unfortunately ran late so our timeline was pushed back and I wished we had more dancing but that's not his fault and I truly feel like I got to balance my time well- I did all the things! Photo booth, dancing, outfit change, mingled with everyone. It was a beautiful day/night! He even left me with a cord to help continue to play music from my laptop when his time was up. Looking back, I honestly wish I just paid for an extra hour of his time for more dancing! read more

I am so glad I hired Dena for our wedding! She was very easy to work with, professional and the photos turned out amazing. I love that her pricing structure is very straight forward and reasonable -- no gouging you or nickle & diming you just because it's a wedding. I was especially impressed by her candid shots. Our ceremony was in a circle, and standing for guests (with seats for those who needed it), so I was worried that might pose a challenge for the photographer, but she was totally cool with it and captured some amazing moments that could have been hard to capture. Seeing what photos came through, she must be a very observant person in order to get the shots she did. I absolutely recommend Dena for wedding photography. read more

Dan was a gem! His years of experience show thru with his work as MC and DJ. We highly recommend him for any type of event needing these services- you won't regret it! read more

Dan did a phenomenal job DJing our event! Highly recommend!!

I cannot say enough about DJ Dan. He was amazing! If you are looking for the best of the best at a reasonable price look no further!! He was fun, professional, organized and super energetic! He met with us several times in person and walked the venue with me before the wedding. He helped us find the perfect song for the processional, which I really appreciated. During our grand entrance we played AC/DC Tunderstruck and Dan pumped up the crowd before the entrances started. It was a lot of fun! The music for the reception was perfect. He played a great mixture of music that worked for all ages to dance to. He did the cake, bouquet toss and speech announcements wonderfully. He has such a fun and positive energy that really added to the wedding. He is great at what he does and I would recommend him to everyone! read more

We were fortunate enough to have Dan Dj our wedding in June of 2021. He was friendly & very easy to work with. We truly enjoyed having him apart of our special day. We had a smaller guest list due to Covid, but he kept everyone on the dance floor. Don't think twice, hire Dan! Thank you Dan for helping make our day perfect read more

We used Crystal Clear studios as our DJ at our wedding in 10/2018 and were very happy we did. Our vendor had a list of DJs and all of them were booked but one of them suggested reaching out to Dan at Crystal Clear studios. Dan was so helpful with the whole planning process- from the best worksheet to outline the songs we wanted and didn't want to meeting us at the venue to talk about speakers and the set up to talking on the phone with us a number of times to outline what we wanted. The night of the event was great and memorable! We had the best dance party and all our guests had so much fun! We highly recommend that you go with Crystal Clear Studios! read more

I cannot recommend Dan and Crystal Clear Studios enough. He is so easy to communicate with, met us in person twice to go over all music selections and help with any questions we had before the big day. He was excellent day of, music sounded awesome and he made sure to play all the right songs to keep our dance party going! We had the best day ever! Thanks Dan :) read more

We hired Dan and Dena for our photography and DJ services for our wedding. They went above and beyond expectations. From the start the couple was so inviting and flexible with what we wanted. Dena is so fun and creative and really captures special moments. She also did our engagement shoot which was nice to get to know her a little better before the wedding. She did a fantastic job. The photographs she took at our wedding are beautiful and timeless. Dan was also fantastic! Our wedding reception was in a barn and by the time we did the announcements and first dance it was still light out which made the mood hard to set but Dan was able to pull it off. He played old time fun songs that fit really well with the crowd we had at our wedding. He had everyone up and dancing. It was so fun!! We were so happy with their services and will go to them for any future needs. A+++ read more

I hired Dan and Dena for their DJ and Photography services for my wedding on 6/21/14. They were amazing! Dan kept the music upbeat and everyone danced all night long, myself included. I always hear stories about how people didn't enjoy their weddings, they were too busy greeting everyone, blah blah blah. I had a blast! I said my hellos and the rest of the night I had a drink in my hand and my booty was shaking! Haha I've only seen the sneak peek of my photos on Dena ' s Facebook page but so far they look amazing. I can't wait to see the rest. I am extremely happy with their services. I had an amazing time! read more

What is the most important part of getting photography right? THE PICTURES. And Dena knocked it out of the park! Between the prints I received after the event to being able to see the photos of all the other guests, I was floored by the quality of the pictures and the skill of the photographers. Once I got my prints in hand, I liked them so much that I ordered several more. Moreover, the customer service was unmatched by other photography services I have experienced - Dena wrote me to ensure I had received my prints and was satisfied with them. What a great surprise! Hope to attend many more events photographed by Crystal Clear Studios!!! read more

Hiring Dena to capture parts of my sister's bachelorette weekend was like having an awesome friend who happens to be an incredibly talented photographer. As many other reviewers have said, Dena is so professional, responsive, and good at what she does. Although we were supposed to just have a formal session, Dena took it upon herself to take candid photos as well, which shows that she is as invested in getting the right shots as her clients are. My only wish is that we could hire Dena for my sister's wedding in Seattle, too. I speak for everyone in our group when I say the photoshoot was the highlight of our weekend. We had so much fun with Dena, and the pictures came out better than we could've ever imagined. read more

Dena was a great photographer for my wedding. She did a great job!

Crystal Clear Studios was an excellent choice for our wedding! Dan came so prepared with all of his equipment, and really made us feel we were in good hands. He kept the scheduled events moving right along, and when it was time to dance he had EVERYONE out on the dance floor! We've gotten nothing but rave reviews from all of our friends and family about our DJ, and we had the best time at our wedding reception. Where to even begin with Dan and Dena? It's difficult to describe the level of professionalism and care they offer. Suffice to say, in their own respective ways they helped ensure that our special day was perfect. The quality of the services they offer are just above and beyond. We danced the night away and have stunning photographs to serve as documentation. We will recommend their work to anyone who will listen. Protip: go for the photo booth, it really helps to add a layer of joy to your day! read more

I can't begin to express my gratitude toward Dan and Dena. I used crystal clear studios for my wedding photography, dj, and photobooth. From our very first meeting I knew they would take great care of me. Dena captured my wedding so perfectly, and for that I am forever grateful. Everyone tells you that your day goes by so fast and it truly does. Thanks to her amazing pictures I can relive every moment of our special day time and time again. Just by looking at one photo it brings back all the memories that went by in a blur. Dj Dan was just as amazing. Handled our crazy friends and family's song requests with such ease. The party was perfect thanks to all the dance music. He really did capture the vibe I wanted on the dance floor. I can't recommend them enough! The best dynamic duo EVER! read more

Phewwww.. Dena was the best choice we could've ever made in our wedding planning process! Her professionalism and experience were quite noticeable from the moment that we met her and were a much appreciated breath of fresh air from all of the stress that is wedding planning. My husband and I are so glad we hired Dan from Crystal Clear Studios to DJ our small wedding! We met with Dan at his studio to go over our song choices before our actual wedding. That was one of the best parts of planning a wedding second only to cake testing (haha). Dan was very communicative and easy to work with and he made sure any requests we had were followed. The day of the wedding he was the one directing the show, he kept things right on time! We built a custom play list for dinner that he worked in with no issues at all. We were comfortable with Dan and had fun working with him. Would not hesitate to work with him in the future! read more

Dan and Seth were the best! We couldn't have asked for more professional, fun and helpful DJs for our wedding. Dan was an amazing help for my October 2012 wedding. From the very beginning we knew it was going to be a good match. He was prompt in all communication, professional, great rates, even during our meeting to discuss music selections, Dan had plenty of suggestions for us. There were so many things my husband and I hadn't thought about but Dan was there to suggest processional songs, cake cutting music ect. He was great! The day of the wedding Dan was there with perfect music accompaniment to our day. He also was fantastic with keeping us on schedule, checking in with my husband and me and making sure our guest had a great time! We had several guest tell us we had the best DJ ever!! People were dancing constantly, even my 80 year old grandfather! We are so grateful that we had Dan there on our big day, I would highly reccomend him for any event! read more

We loved working with DJ Dan. We had a beautiful fall wedding in Sonoma County at the end of September this year! He made the whole music selection and process fun and practically stress free. Just ask our guests, I think they were dancing even more after we left for the evening. The music was as we had hoped for and the flow of the evening was just right. He also gives you a very clear and organized list of the breakdown of the pre-ceremony, ceremony and reception. If you are looking for a fun-spirited, personable and energetic DJ, we recommend Crystal Clear. read more

DJ Dan did an excellent job at our wedding. He timed the music perfectly, pronounced my name correctly, was receptive to the audience and really got the crowd going. He did an excellent job balancing older music with newer music and kept everyone engaged in dancing--from ages 4-75! He did a great job facilitating the wedding festivities without being too heavy on the microphone. Everyone was complimenting me on the music, both during and after the wedding. He was prompt at communicating, flexible with timing and did a good job understanding our vision. I highly recommend him! read more

MOST EPIC DANCE PARTY EVER! We were recommended meeting with Dan through friends of ours who hired him for their wedding, which was to be 2 weeks before ours. Not only did we get to enjoy his DJ skills at their wedding, but he threw one hell of a play list dance party for ours. He was so easy to meet with, really passionate about music, gave great suggestions and above all LISTENED to what we wanted for our big day and the dance party that I always envisioned. We actually had a friend of ours dad, who lives up the mountain where our wedding was held, he heard our music from his back porch and said it was the best wedding music he had heard in years! To this day (2 months later) I am still getting compliments about how it was the best wedding people had been to in 2015! Dan, thank you. read more

I initially met with Dan through skype when I was interviewing DJs. I knew immediately that he was the right fit for us. He did an amazing job before the wedding and after the wedding. My dad and I wanted a mix of 2 songs for our father-daughter dance and Dan worked extremely hard to make the song perfect for us. He cut it 3 times before it was just right. At the wedding he did an amazing job of blending old music with new music. Everyone was on the dance floor, including parents and grandparents. Our wedding was so much fun and everyone raved about how great the party was. In addition to the music, he also gave updates to the football game that many of us were interested in. He did such an amazing job and I am so happy we chose him to work with! read more

This team is amazing and truly know how to do their jobs! They are both super professional, but are caring and super fun at the same time! The ceremony and reception music was unforgettable...Dan is great!! He did everything we asked and requested...he was even willing to fetch random songs to play for us. Although the music was unforgettable...the pictures are priceless! Dena is meticulous and is open to any suggestions or certain shots you might want to try. My husband and I hired Dena as our wedding photographer and we could not have been happier with our choice! From the get go Dena was very communicative, very professional, had a super detailed questionnaire that helped her establish who we are as a couple so she knew the best photos to capture, and she was great with responding to questions quickly. One thing that I found truly incredible about her was that, on the day of the wedding, as I was getting ready, when she arrived she instantly became one of my friends, she was very attentive and sensitive to my needs and giving space when it was needed and finding some amazingly beautiful shots that captured almost every single moment of the morning. I felt so comfortable with her around, she just instantly clicked with everyone. Also, with formal photos after the ceremony she was soooo on top of things, everything went super fast and all the photos she got were great! There is usually at least one person not looking or having their eyes closed in those group photos, not with Dena, all the photos are beautiful! My husband and I were so impressed with what she was able to capture, not only at the ceremony but all of the candid photos at the reception, we got so many great photos of our guests and special moments during the reception that will be photo memories for us to treasure forever. Also, one of the best parts! Dena was super fast in editing the photos and getting them sent to us and they were magical! Love her technique, love her enthusiasm and her professionalism, don't even know how she was able to get all the pictures she did because it was like she was in several places at once! Great photographer and definitely recommend using her; she has a great artistic and creative eye and is able to capture very sweet, intimate moments that you are sure to cherish! read more

I hired both DJ Dan and Dena Lindsey (for photography,) for my wedding on 11/24/12. I have to say that they were the most professional venders we worked with. DJ Dan played our list, and mixed in music that made sense, too. One of the compliments I have repeatedly gotten was how fun the music was. He also seamlessly moved our guests from dinner, dancing, toasts, etc. I really didn't have to worry about anything during the event (as it should be.) Dena showed up with her assistant at the site I was getting ready at before I did... making friends with my family and identifying good shot locations. She remembered to follow directions I had told her weeks prior (like take extra shots of this person... and none of that person.) She also was completely unobtrusive during the ceremony and the reception. But, the photos were fabulous. My favorite thing about Crystal Clear Studios is that they resolve problems quickly and professionally. There were very few and not very serious, but they were all 100% resolved with no harm done. You'll never work with anyone without little kinks along the way ~ trust me, I just planned a wedding. It's how they get handled that is the important thing. read more
