We've been eating mostly grass fed beef for the last 3 years. Once we bought a half of a quarter cow from Prather Ranch...that was Very good, but I don't think they are catering to the retail market any longer. We got the CSA boxes from Marin Sun Farms for a couple of years and though convienient, we were not impressed with the taste of the beef. Holding Ranch beef, has, so far, been the best tasting beef so far. Also the quarter cow price is very acceptable. read more
