Coming into the parking lot, I'd say be careful driving past the gate; the gate isn't secured properly to the cement on the floor, so it pops up, making it hazardous for your tires. The workers here are very chill, just like any other gym, though climbers are very chill in general. They're very helpful and friendly if you ever need them. They keep the gym very clean and the bathrooms well stocked. They are also always quick to notice you and provide support if needed. The routes here are a range of difficulties. The basic routes here feel slightly more difficult than other gyms, helping you build your core. They reset the walls on a weekly basis, which encourages you to come back. On the weekdays, it's ridiculously packed where people don't wait their turn in the walls. Lots of newcomers and people who come after work. If you like climbing freely, wait for weekends in the evenings!

The prices are fairly high for a gym membership, but they have great deals that occur during holidays and selective occasions which are an opportunity to bring a friend or group once in a while. I've made fond memories climbing with friends, time after work by myself with earphones, or by randomly engaging conversation and having a friendly conversation - exploring the depth of indoor climbing and finding out how to solve different climb routes makes this hobby an activity worth trying. (be ready to rip some finger skin if you're starting out) If you want to get into indoor climbing, this is a recommended place to start. The highlight I love about this place is the staff, they for sure work hard to keeping the place clean, keen on accommodation, and are happy to chat regarding information and questions. Shout out to Drake!

Sebastian helped check Austy and I in and He was so nice and polite to Me as a Spontaneous Sitcom Cameo Guest! Sebastian was friendly, thorough, and efficient with his Hustle and offered a lot of interesting high value Feedback on how to pay attention to important details like learning good Footwork Techniques to save energy while progressing as a Climber. Jared was a wonderfully attentive Professional Guardian and added a lot of cozy and inclusive Creatively Enriching Vibrations to the Cave as well! Jared was fun to chop up Smart Meeting Principles and celebrate interesting Climber Gifts with, and I liked how he was modeling the latest Hangar Merch at work. Jared was thoroughly knowledgeable and informative about Hangar's Community Culture which I find so refreshing! I have a lot of Coworkers who attend CBU and am excited to share with them how Hangar invites local Students to take a break from their Mental Stresses and move their Bodies in a fun and creatively satisfying way in the Climbing Gym! Even though I was chillaxing as a Guest Cheerleader I still had a good time observing my Bestie successfully slay through his Challenges on a comfy Skittle Colored Beanie :0) The Music here is interesting too and I like how Artfully Chic and Beautifully designed the Restrooms are!

I'm a regular at the orange location but it only offers bouldering. Good staff, very helpful getting us belay checkouts and explaining the layout of the facility and the routes available to climb. We had a great couple of hours climbing and enjoying some new sends.

I grew up in San Diego and I've lived in LA for many years and a year after year I keep telling…read moremyself that I have to check this place out. For this most recent long three-day weekend in Lake Arrowhead we decided to finally give this place a try. We are two adults in our 30s with no kids. It is important to note that because honestly, this place is for children 10 and under. It is not for teens or adults. It is honestly pretty underwhelming if you are an adult, but it can be quite charming if you are a child. It is also $55 per person and $15 for parking which is a bit expensive, but I understand the inflated price due to the location and having to staff it. One thing about this place that is nice is they don't have a bunch of add-ons once you get inside, so you really do just pay one price unless you decide to get food as well. The other part of this park is specifically designed for people into mountain biking. They have six different trails ranging in difficulty from easy to difficult and about half of the visitors seemed to be doing that which we would go back specifically for. The activities for adults are pretty limited, so the main ones that we did were the bike in the air that goes around the rim of the property. This is the ride that you see in all the marketing and is the most popular. It was probably the most fun we had but it was honestly a bit scary once you get to the steepest point. It's about 50 feet above the ground so it would be quite a fall down. After that, we tried some archery and ax throwing which was surprisingly fun. After that, there was honestly nothing else that we could really do given our age and size so we headed out after that. This would be a great place to visit during December with children 10 and under because they do have Santa Claus and people in costumes and what not and each of the buildings is alpine themed and is very quaint. They also have a very large area that serves as a wedding location so I'm sure that is also another part of this place. There is a large free parking lot attached in front with EV charging available as well.

We've been here during the fall and winter and I would recommend coming for the winter decorations. The crowd varies during the year, when we came during the fall weekday, it was empty and there was no wait for any of the activities. We came last week (3 days before Christmas) and we had to wait for each activity. It wasn't bad, but it did make the day longer. If you plan to eat, I would eat earlier because in the afternoon lunch our food took about 1hr. The highlight of the trip for my kid is santa and I'm glad we did that first to get a reservations. We did the mountain bike part earlier in the fall and that was nice if your kid is into it. We rented all the gear and opted for the tour guide to help us get use to it.

Parking is not the best especially during peak hours; I find myself parking inside the residential areas just to come to gym. They have auto belay, a top out area, and a very large bouldering section. They don't have a super long slab wall, but they do have a wide variety of problems and types of boulder holds. As an avid v4 climber, I think the routes here a fairly easy for my grade, yet the problems are very fun in itself. The interior is very clean and the workers are diligently checking the gym, restocking, and cleaning restrooms. They have merchandise for purchase, too. On very busy days, the students from the colleges are here to climb. I'd avoid climbing in weekdays after 3 PM if you want more time on the wall without competition. Other than that, it is a nice gym with nice workers.
