It was nice that they took the time to do a balloon up with happy birthday and my name and also sang happy birthday to me at the end of the meal. The Hog's Breath style is its own. Loud, brazen and the benches make it a little uncomfortable (for over 50s). That said the staff are always friendly, the food is always good - though a shade pricey - and an evening meal is usually quite enjoyable. Will come again if visiting Hervey Bay. We went for lunch and overall we enjoyed it. We were lucky to be seated at a table with chairs as we have experienced the benchs before and found them very uncomfortable which is not great as the food is not cheap. Anyway the service was the usual almost too friendly to the point of cheeky but at least they are trying style that all Hogs Breath Cafés specialize in. They were busy but the food and drinks arrived quickly. Well done kitchen staff. Tone it down from 13 to about 8 is my hint to wait staff. read more
