The cakes were also very delicious. I loved my sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce. Others had the brownie (yummy) and carrot cake (very good). All generous proportions. Nice friendly staff as well and all reasonably priced. This restaurant adjoins the reefworld aquarium and I believe you can get a deal for all day entry to aquarium and a meal from Waterfront. So rich and flavorful. we also got seafood chowder and spring rolls but I would honestly skip those next to tp just get more scallops. Highly recommend this place! However, they get extremely crowded so definitely try and make a reservation. We came right when they opened for dinner so they had a spare outdoor table for us, but it was extremely windy and cold. With a reservation you can get a seat inside which would have been more comfortable.

I chose the dry chilli pork and vegetables and jasmine rice. My dining partners went for combination chow mein, dry fried noodles, beef and black bean sauce and stir fried vegetables respectively. I tried some of each dish and enjoyed all of them. The food was really full of flavour with the right ratio of meat, vegetables and sauce. Prices are also reasonable at around $10 to $15 for a main. If you're in Hervey Bay and are looking for a decent Chinese take away or sit down meal, you should try this place out.
