The chicken is so moist and there's a lovely range of salads to choose from. I had the 1/4 chicken dinner which consisted of 1/4 chicken obviously (and you get to choose wing or leg section) plus three salads. We got Caesar, lemongrass chicken and beetroot and pumpkin. All that for $11.90. They also told us we could swap a salad for a side of hot roasted potato, sweet potato and carrot in a honey mustard dressing ( saving that for next time). It fed two of us with leftovers. The salads are all incredibly fresh and super tasty. Other person had the schnitzel burger combo with chips and salad (also $11.90) and it was delicious and well worth the money. This new business gets extremely busy but you still don't wait long. While we were finishing our meal one of the lovely owners came over to ask us if our meals were ok and we had a nice chat and told him how lovely our meals were, he was so pleased when we told him we would now be regulars. It's these little touches that make you want to spend your money, great food and friendly service can't be beaten. Well done to the brother and sister team for bringing something so yummy to the bay.

WOW WOW WOW! Truly the one word to some up for the food at this restaurant. My partner and I were…read moredriving north several months ago and stopped by Hervey Bay along the route. We already knew Hervey Bay was known for two things - whale watching and the scallops. As we didn't have time to go whale watching we decided to try out the scallops. Nearly every restaurant in Australia that offers scallops mentions that they are from Hervey Bay so we had very high expectations. Keep in mind my partner HATES scallops. So for him to even be trying them was a huge deal. I ordered the Hazelnut Butter Baked while he ordered the Tempura. With no exaggeration these were the BEST scallops I have EVER eaten! My partner even loved them that he ordered a second round. I enjoyed mine more than his but they were both incredible. The hazelnut butter was nothing like Ive ever tasted before. So rich and flavorful. we also got seafood chowder and spring rolls but I would honestly skip those next to tp just get more scallops. Highly recommend this place! However, they get extremely crowded so definitely try and make a reservation. We came right when they opened for dinner so they had a spare outdoor table for us, but it was extremely windy and cold. With a reservation you can get a seat inside which would have been more comfortable.

There wasn't any pressure to order loads of food, instead they offered sound advice based on how hungry we felt and they were spot on. Their drinks menu is great, I particularly enjoyed the extensive craft beer list. When it comes to the food, everything we had was fantastic. Chargrilled octopus, market fish and the seafood congee, all perfectly cooked. Flavours were well balanced and complimentary of each other. If you like chocolate, the brownie is highly recommended for dessert. I'm not normally a fan of cherries but these ones are very tart, balancing the sweetness of the brownie. A great meal and a great experience.
