I just took my guinea pig here with an upper respiratory infection and they were SO SWEET to her!…read more I gave her veggies before coming in to calm her down in her carrier, but that was a mistake because she pooped SO much. It looked like she needed a diaper it was so much. I asked to take her to the bathroom to clean her but Dr Ross didn't mind and cleaned her up so nicely! He was so understanding and patient about every question I had (I had a lot of questions). The room was also so adorablely decorated! My last vet took my pets into a different room to do the exams so I really love that they do the exam in front of you here. I could see everything they were doing and ask any question or request any checks that I needed. The exam fee was 80$ over the phone but the medication only came to 27$!! Soo cheap for all the care that they put into my girl. They also found an issue that my last vet didn't find and we might get that checked out later. My only issue is the fact that he flipped her on her back during the exam and cleaning which honestly wasn't cool, but she was okay and he was very gentle throughout the entire exam. I'm so excited to have found my new favorite vet!

Dr Ross is nothing short of amazing! When my 13 year old American Bulldog first saw him she was…read morestruggling physically and barely mobile. She needed help getting up and struggled to get around on her own. He started her on acupuncture, supplements, added certain foods to her diet, and gave me some physical therapy instructions for home. After her first appointment, she got off the couch to greet me when I got home! It had been weeks since she last did that. She was able to walk around much better and has continued to improve with each visit. Dr Ross started her with weekly acupuncture and has since moved to every other week because of the progress she has made. She is now able to go down the stairs (practically on her own), gets up on her own, goes potty outside by herself, and walks around the house on her own. Dr Ross has such a calming and kind demeanor. I wish we had found him sooner! He really has our baby girl's best interest in mind. He isn't trying to make a buck by selling us supplements we don't need. He actually advised that we could give her human supplements to save money. Their check in process is great because it is less stressful for our fur babies. You call from your car and they will come out and get you so that you won't run into any other patients on your way in or out. They also run an Urgent Care clinic some evenings which makes it convenient for refilling prescriptions Thank you Dr Ross and clinic staff for the amazing service!

Serenity Holistic Vet - Ruby LOVES the camera! She continues to thrive with chiropractic care, acupuncture, herbs and a balanced whole food diet.

I am so very grateful to Dr. Rose and the team at Serenity Holistic Vet. Our girl, Nikka, is a 12…read moreyear old Husky/Shepherd mix and she recently developed some hind leg soreness/stiffness and urinary incontinence. We took her to a conventional vet to rule out UTI/kidney issues and had X rays done to ensure there was nothing grossly abnormal structurally with her bones. Everything checked out and I knew I didn't want to start her on a medication with significant side effects or have her on pain meds indefinitely, so I searched for holistic vets who did acupuncture and was so happy to see Dr. Rose was local to us! . On our first visit, Dr. Rose did a thorough exam of Nikka and informed us that Nikka had an unusual heart murmur. A different vet at a conventional clinic that had seen Nikka just a few weeks earlier also mentioned the heart murmur but said it was very mild/quiet and didn't seem concerned about it all and didn't give us any indication that it needed to be investigated. I thought that the murmur must be no big deal based on how the first vet handled the finding. Dr. Rose immediately told us that Nikka's heart murmur was quite pronounced and unusual sounding and she gave us a lot of info and recommendations on next steps. . Well, today we took Nikka to a cardiologist where she had an ECHO and it turns out she has dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), which, thankfully, has been caught early and might be able to be improved with medication and dietary changes. . Dr. Rose literally saved Nikka's life with her attention to detail, her excellent clinical skills, and her prompt and informative follow up and recommendations. I will be eternally and forever grateful to her competence and expertise. . Nikka has also had 2 sessions of acupuncture and cold laser/photobiomodulation and she definitely has more pep in her step. Nikka also loves coming to Serenity Holistic Vet, she isn't anxious or nervous and just settles right down and relaxes when the acupuncture needles are in. Dr. Rose is a gem and we are so lucky to have her here in Murrieta.

First and foremost, Dr. Rose is God sent. She has helped my Bull Mastiff mix (Logan) tremendously…read morewith his lower back, hips, and jaw. She utilizes holistic techniques such as chiropractic work, acupuncture, and cold laser. I'm a firm believer of using other remedies other than western medicine (I.e. PILLS.) she also can do diet consultations to help your pup either gain or lose weight. Dr. Rose and her staff are very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They take pride in keeping a warm/welcoming and clean environment for you and your fur baby. Pricing is very fair considering most traditional vets will just opt for your pet to get surgery or crappy pharmaceuticals rather than more natural remedies. Definitely recommend coming here if your dog has joint problems and/or other problems. If you're looking for a place that will hit the root cause of the problem with natural treatments and you are also willing to put your share of the work in for your pets therapy then most definitely try out Serenity Holistic Vet. Remember though, it's a process for your pets therapy. Nothing of lasting results happens over night!

Amazing customer service!!!!…read more Went into this location today because the location I normally go to is closed on Sundays. (My husband and I just adopted a dog from a shelter and she was showing symptoms that were worrisome). Josh, who saw our dog Lu Lu today, was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything so thoroughly. I did not feel rushed, and was very appreciative of this (especially since we just had a dog pass away). He had amazing bedside manner, thank you Josh!!! All the women at the front desk who assisted me as well today were so sweet and had wonderful customer service! You can tell VCA really cares about animals and helping families with their beloved fur babies! Thank you VCA! (Also love that this location is open 24 hours-incase of an emergency)

He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, reviewed all recommendations carefully, and gave honest expectations. We never felt rushed into our decisions. The staff was also very attentive and friendly at each visit in person. However, in more recent visits, communication has become very difficult. It has been challenging to get responses by phone or message, even for follow-up questions they themselves requested. This is especially frustrating given the level of care and cost involved in moving toward surgery. At this point, I would honestly consider going through my primary care instead, since it would be more affordable and communication has been more reliable for follow-ups.

We have been bringing our pets to this veterinary office for over a decade and trusted them with…read morethree of our dogs. For many years, we felt confident in the care they provided. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the quality of service has declined significantly, especially at the front desk. This past weekend, our dog experienced serious neurological issues, and to our shock, the office was completely closed on Saturday during what should have been normal business hours. We later learned it was due to staff illness. While we understand that situations come up, it's hard to accept that an entire veterinary office would be closed without any contingency plan in place for patients who may need urgent care. We have also been paying for two monthly "paw plans" for years, with the understanding that they would provide better pricing and quicker access to services. That has not been our experience at all. When we recently called to cancel these plans, especially in light of one of our dogs passing away just two days prior, we were met with a complete lack of empathy. Instead of compassion, we were told we could be sent to collections if we didn't continue paying. The way this situation was handled was incredibly disappointing. The front desk staff were dismissive and showed no sympathy during an already difficult time. After so many years of loyalty, this is not how clients should be treated. Sadly, we can no longer recommend this clinic.
