When we called for a quote, they said it would be $10; then when we called back to schedule the pick up, they said it would be $25 due to the need for a special truck. We agreed to this. Yesterday the guy called and asked if he could get it in his pickup truck. We told him no, so he come with a trailer. Now they are trying to charge $50. Is everyone in this area SO DISHONEST??? If you cannot test it before you buy it, don't gamble. Some of these vehicles appear to have been underwater as well (mine wasn't). May not be a lot of bucks, but it costs money to put trash in the dump, so make it a lighter load. Depending on what type of metal & how much you have you might be able to pay your dump bill. It's a bit chaotic in the lot. You have to be able to follow directions from the person at the gate & the person directing traffic on the scales.
