When we called for a quote, they said it would be $10; then when we called back to schedule the pick up, they said it would be $25 due to the need for a special truck. We agreed to this. Yesterday the guy called and asked if he could get it in his pickup truck. We told him no, so he come with a trailer. Now they are trying to charge $50. Is everyone in this area SO DISHONEST??? So far, we have no had good luck with local services.

May not be a lot of bucks, but it costs money to put trash in the dump, so make it a lighter load. Depending on what type of metal & how much you have you might be able to pay your dump bill. It's a bit chaotic in the lot. You have to be able to follow directions from the person at the gate & the person directing traffic on the scales. The only possible downside is that it's a scrap yard so watch where you drive, your tires will be in harms way.

I used my phone to search and all the tow companies in my town were closed, except for Pence. I called them, and the lady on the phone was very kind and sweet.
