I've had a good experience with Hoffman! While I primarily went to their PV office based on…read moreproximity, I did find myself out here a few times to pick up trays as well. I really, really, (really) didn't want to mess around with one of those now defunct, direct-to-consumer braces brands. If I was going to do this, I wanted to go with some true orthodontists who know their stuff. Hoffman was referred to me by my dentist, and I got a good feeling and a fair quote and started treatment. They quoted me around 18 months worth of Invisalign, and that was about 17 months ago. So, they nailed that. Silly as it sounds, through a combo of embarrassment and maybe a hint of fear, I put this off. I thought my lower teeth might've crowded too much and that this wouldn't work, but I was wrong. It worked great, and I never actually minded the trays that much. I wore them 20-22 hours a day as instructed, and there was some initial tightening for a day or so. All that did was tell me it was working! Each tray sort of loosened up by day four or five, and I did tray changes every two weeks. When we got to the final trays that were refinements, I requested to try 7 day changes instead which we did and they worked well. I think it was good to go slower at first, then ramp it up a tad. At that point, we were having to do scans and then wait on new trays (up to a month) and I was just ready to be done anyhow. Also an unfortunate part of teeth crowding is that they can start chipping other teeth, and that had been happening to me prior to treatment. They were able to fill those in and smooth them out as part of my treatment. All in all, Invisalign is super easy and it was nice to have a real ortho to talk with. If I had one bit of feedback, it would be letting people to my style of treatment COMBINED with their app treatment. It was either/or and made for a lot of visits, but again, that was my overall preference so it was OK.

A few years ago, my husband and I decided it was time to actually go to the dentist. Nothing was hurting, but we knew that the longer we put it off, the more expensive it would be to get us to the point of healthy. I was set on finding a dentist that was close by with good reviews, which led me to Kolarik. We each made appointments. I can't say enough about how great the people at Kolarik are. They worked with me to get x-rays, helping me every step of the way knowing I struggle. They are kind and gentle, and I've yet to have a bad experience. Paige is my go-to hygienist, and I can't stop signing her praises. Another huge point: Despite my history, no one in the office has ever shamed me for anything. It's not ignored, but there's no shame. Everything is handled in such a kind way. I recommend Kolarik to anyone and everyone I know!

I have had some issues with dentists in my past and it takes a lot for me to walk in a dentist's door (even waiting on my children). I had another bad tooth in my mouth and this one was near the front of my smile line. I was very self conscious as it broke and knew I needed to do something soon. My brother told me about offices in his area that were easy going and helpful which encouraged me. I tried one place in OP and they asked me If I just wanted to have all of my teeth pulled. They offered me some ideas on how they can help save my teeth but it was going to be an extraordinary amount of money. My wife talked me into trying Parkway Plaza and from the beginning the staff and dentist were very helpful and patient with me. They discussed options to make me more comfortable and they asked me questions rather than told me what to do. I've now had some work done and I'm very grateful.
