I worked with The Kaplan Group for more than six months while navigating a challenging employment…read moresituation, and I consistently felt well represented throughout the process. My initial intake was with Austin Kaplan, who was exceptionally knowledgeable about the law but, just as importantly, provided clear, real-world insight into what I should realistically expect. He was direct, fair, and accurate in managing expectations, which helped me make informed decisions without feeling misled or overpromised at any point. Andrew Eckhaus and Madeline were both excellent to work with. They were responsive, thoughtful, and thorough, and I always felt that my questions and concerns were taken seriously. Their guidance was practical, well reasoned, and grounded in a strong understanding of the law. I also appreciated how easy it was to schedule meetings using their online system--it was efficient and respectful of my time. The firm's compensation structure felt transparent and fair, and I never felt pressured or price-gouged. Overall, I felt treated fairly and professionally from start to finish. The Kaplan Group demonstrated strong legal expertise, sound judgment, and a clear focus on serving their clients' best interests. I would recommend them to anyone looking for experienced and principled legal representation.

Thank you very much your help, Austin Kaplan. Through the hard and relentless work from you and…read moreyour team, we were able to come to a very favorable resolution with the opposing counsel and party. I highly recommend Austin Kaplan and his team. Unfortunately prior to engaging Austin Kaplan, I had hired a previous attorney from a separate firm. The other attorney was unreliable, did not return messages weeks at a time, was unethical, and was not helpful. The other attorney disappeared after I paid him a big retainer. However when I hired Austin Kaplan, he was a godsend compared to the previous attorney. He took over the case and got us on track immediately with the case. Austin is smart, prompt, very wise, extremely nice, gives good reasonable counsel, and he bills very ethically (unlike my previous lawyer). Thank you again for all your help, Austin. I consider him a great attorney and a friend now. It makes all the difference in the world which attorney and firm that you pick. Go with Austin Kaplan and his team. I will recommend him to all my friends and family. I would use him again in a heartbeat. He is worth every penny and more.

Highly recommend Aaron for personal injury cases. When I initially spoke with him about the…read morespecifics of my case, he gave me very direct feedback and informed me on all of the reasons why I could potentially file suit against the City of Austin. Unfortunately, at the end of the first phone call, he regrettably informed me that due to the Texas Tort Claims Act, it's almost impossible to file suit and expect to get any sort of compensation for the type of injury I suffered. I was let down, but at least grateful that he gave me honest, valuable counsel. I thanked him for his time and was left to figure out my next move, but thankfully only had to wait until the end of the day when he called me back. Despite telling me he wouldn't take my case, he had spent most of his day poring over similar cases and managed to find one that made it all the way up to the Texas Supreme Court, which had actually reset the precedent for cases such as this. He then told me he actually felt like he had a shot to get me some money to help pay off the egregious amount of medical bills I had incurred. I should also add, though, that my mother and I were very diligent about gathering as much evidence as possible the moment I was released from the hospital, and without all of this documented evidence, there is very little chance I would have had a case to begin with. As far as how the process went while working with Aaron, I could not have been more pleased with how everything was handled and played out. One of my favorite things about Aaron is that he is no bullshitter. He is very direct and always made sure I understood exactly what to expect throughout the whole process, and always updated me immediately with any new developments, as well as going through expectations for the next part of the case. All in all, it took about 20 months from the day Aaron accepted my case to the day that we settled out of court for a payout from the city that has helped ease my financial burden that I incurred due to poor city maintenance. I cant even imagine where I'd be without all the work, time, and effort that Aaron put in to my case, and words cannot express how grateful I am to him.

Aaron Allison took my case after a chiropractor who was assigned by the state of Texas as the…read more"Designated Doctor" gave me a MMI and Impairment Rating. What was so mind boggling was that I was still in physical therapy for my shoulder when I had to see him. I suffered a torn rotator cuff on the job but the chiropractor who is not a MD wrote in his report that I do not need surgery to repair my shoulder (he claimed it was a shoulder strain) even though my physician (an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in elbow and shoulder surgeries and approved by the insurance company) had made it clear I was a candidate for surgery. Mr. Allison represented me from May of 2022 until November of 2022 when we went in front of a so-called "Administrative Law Judge" who works for the Texas Department of Insurance (Division of Workers' Compensation). Mr. Allison did everything and beyond to prove my case. We had all the documentation including the MRI results that I had to pay for. I really felt good after the hearing because we proved everything beyond the shadow of doubt. However, the administrative judge took the recommendation of a chiropractor (who never looked at the MRI results) over my physician who happens to be an expert and specialist in elbow and shoulder orthopedics for The Carrell Clinic who happens to perform surgeries for the Dallas Cowboys. Mr. Allison had warned me from the very beginning that Texas' Workers' Compensation Law is perhaps the worst in the nation when he took up my case. Aaron will bend over backwards to help you anyway he can. His knowledge of the Workers' Compensation law is second to none as far as I am concerned. He gave my wife and I the history and structure of Texas' Workers' Compensation Law and answered pretty much all our questions before we even asked him. He was always available when I had any questions and he made me feel at ease. He may not like this description of him but I told him he really is a crusader for the working people and it's a shame there aren't more like him. If you have been injured, please contact him - he will fight for you. Thank you Aaron for everything you did for me. David M. Sligh

I approached…read morethem regarding a serious injury to my autistic child at an ABA center, hoping for timely and compassionate legal guidance. After more than three months of waiting, the firm finally informed us that they would not be taking the case. During this entire period, communication was minimal and updates were almost nonexistent. The attorney assigned to us, Esteban Contreras, demonstrated a complete lack of competence and professionalism in handling our case. After speaking with him, I felt he was unfit for this position and not capable of managing a sensitive or complex matter like ours. For a firm that advertises itself as being responsive and client-focused, this experience was the complete opposite. I would not recommend this firm to anyone seeking serious representation for a child injury or any case requiring attentive communication and accountability.
