I am agnostic and felt there were a lot of religious overtones, which made me less comfortable. That is not a reason to give a bad review, and this is why I am giving a 4. But I did want others to know before they go because it caught me off guard.

(I'm not fond of the pediatric tooth-factories where kids are herded and churned out in between video games.) From the moment that I called and spoke to Anna to make the appointment to walking in the door and meeting her, and everything in between until she waved goodbye, it was as dental-delight. The hygienist, the dentist, and Anna were all friendly, informative, and efficient, and the office itself was clean and orderly. As a new patient (and a 2 year old, at that) my daughter was treated with kindness to make her first cleaning anything but the traumatic tears that I was half-expecting out of her. Nice touches like scented warm towels, Disney channel on the TV, water bottles, and the goody bag for new patients made our visit a stand-out.

Not only does my entire family visit this dentist, we have sent in our friends and neighbors as well. I personally have had a great experience with getting veneers from Dr. Vo. The experience was smooth from start to finish and my teeth look so much better. The process was much easier than I had anticipated and the results over delivered!!! Last week I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vo. My friends thought I was crazy for being awake, honestly there was no discomfort with some local numbing and the best part was I had NO discomfort after the extractions. Either Dr. Vo is a wizard dentist or I have no pain receptors in my mouth. Dr. Vo is very skilled and his staff is amazing!

Dr. Watson is the Female Chiropractor and she specializes in adjustments for children from infants up. From the time that I first met Dr. Newman, to when he injected me with novacaine, his calm manner and uncanny ability to put me at ease were remarkable. I literally did not feel the injection. I've gone from gripping the arm rests on the dentist chair so tightly that my hands went numb, to actually falling asleep while he worked on my teeth. To say that Dr. Newman is the best dentist I have every visited seems understated. Being from an Air Force family, I have visited dentists all over the world, but have never come close to being as comfortable as I am in Dr. Newman's care. He's personable, funny, caring and kind. We've become friends over the years and frequently lament about the closing of Da Vinci's Pizza. The office staff are great and his office reminds me of an earlier time when personal attention the norm and patients were individuals treated with kindness, respect and compassion. I wholeheartedly recommend Jack Newman to anyone who suffers with their current dentist. Your experience with Dr. Newman will be completely different.
