At least one but usually two if it's a hour either side of lunchtime. A Mervin is a chili dog topped with cheese. The bun was fresh and it held a premium weenie well.Atop this the chili, cheese and fresh chopped chilled Bermuda's rides. The frank has a good pop once bitten into. It's never been to New York or been blessed by a Rabbi but it was all beef and had a smoky taste. The chili had never been to Texas but had a nice mild flavor that only comes from 4 day old chili-o mix with about twice the meat the recipe calls for and no beans. Good luck eating this chili with a fork on Monday. I just love a drug store lunch counter chili dog and they make a tolerable good one here. Fact of the matter is they make two.
