Plus he did a few little things that other shop would have just ignored, like tightening an underbody splashguard screw, and cleaning the area around the brake master cylinder. I had been complaining to other shops about the brakes for a while and they had all said they are fine, but Peter identified that the hoses needed replacement, and then later the Calipers. Did the work quickly and didn't even charge me for all of the labor. At $88 his hourly labor cost is the lowest I've seen for any shop, let alone a Volvo Specialist. However, I will say that he is unorthodox on how he handles customers. It almost seemed like he was trying to talk me out of repairs, so it took some patience and dialogue to get to the final decision about what needed to be done. It definitely won't dissuade me from taking the car to him in the future, but new customers should not expect the typical shop experience.
