I highly recommend Marcos & Bruno to anyone looking to install kitchen backsplash or other tile…read morejob. I hired them for my kitchen backsplash and am thoroughly impressed with the results. From the first reachout, communication with Jessica at the front desk about a site visit was prompt and reliable. Note that there is a non-refundable $25 quote fee. Marcos stopped by and efficiently and professionally laid out the scope of work. I received the quote a few days later, which I felt was relatively reasonable. Bruno's communication about the job was always clear and prompt. Marcos and his colleague worked so professionally, diligently, and thoroughly, while completing the job quicker than anticipated. Their attention to detail and cleanliness made it a hassle-free experience for me. They were always on time and communicative. Marcos even re-caulked and sealed my kitchen countertops, going above and beyond. I never felt pushed or scammed into paying extra and it's clear M&B are a business of integrity and professionalism.

He walked me around the store showing me different tiles and explaining why one cost more/less than the other. He showed me the style of the floor I wanted (pinwheel) and calculated how much tile I'd need in each size to complete it. He also recommended I use a marble saddle instead of the bullnose I had requested and explained why that made sense (and was cost effective). Then, as promised, he called me Monday morning right after he opened to confirm that his warehouse had the tile in stock. The delivery fee is extremely reasonable, the selection is OUTSTANDING, the store is clean and bright, and the people working there (in addition to Joe) were also very courteous. I have to purchase backsplash for my kitchen as well as slate for my entryway, and tile (floor and wall) for 3 bathrooms. I will definitely be going back to Standard Tile in Jersey City for every one of those projects. UPDATE: I went back for more tile in March. We had our entire bathroom redone. Joe not only remembered me, but helped me pick the bath/wall tile to match the floor tile we were using (left over from my kitchen). We're redoing the master bathroom next year, and this is the store I'll shop at.

Danny is honest, professional, fair, and genuinely a good person. He and his team finished the wall in no time and it looked amazing. For the past 7 years, if I need something done.. I call Danny. He has completed drywall, refinished my wood floors, repaired my ceiling, fixed sinks, doors, installed a fence, and just completed my back patio. What I appreciate about Danny and his team is the fact he takes the time to talk things out, brainstorm, and find the most reasonably priced route. And EVERYTHING that man and his team has completed for me in 7 years is still standing. I have not had one issue with the jobs he has completed. Honestly, he has fixed jobs that I had done when I first moved into my house. I am kicking myself that I did not call him first! If Danny says he will start on Saturday, he will start on Saturday. He communicates with me during the entire project. OH! AND HE CLEANS UP AFTERWARD!!! UNHEARD OF! So if you want a job completed where you do not have to go back to get it fixed again - and you want punctual, professional, courteous, respectful, transparent, fairly priced, QUALITY work done? Danny. Danny is the way to go. One day he joked "Never fear, Danny's here." Super true statement because I have never had a doubt in seven years. no notes

I have been going to Tile Wholesalers of Newark for all of my tile needs and have sent friends and…read morefamily there for years.  This business is family run and the people that work there are always amazing.  Stacy, part of the family that runs the store, is always helpful, patient, and very attentive.  No matter how busy the store might be, she always takes as much time as is needed to find the right tiles for whatever your application is.  As a matter of fact, when I was there last weekend to find a unique design for a very small bathroom, which involved finding and matching 4 different types of tile and the associated grout, and ensuring it all matches. Stacy stayed with me for at least an hour, picking up different tiles and working on different combinations based on my feedback.  I kept on pleading with her to go and attend to others while I worked the different combinations together, but she refused to leave until I felt confident that the choices were matching and I would be happy.  She also constantly kept me aware of price and showed my close options that would save me money in my project.  For instance, I chose a very expensive Italian ceramic tile which I loved, and she brought over something very similar, that I liked the same, and told me I would save hundreds on this version, which I choose.  Also, while writing this I decided to look up the tiles I bought in the store and I realized that all of the prices were either the same or cheaper than anything I found online, for all 4 tile sets I choose. From the standpoint of service, anytime in the past that I have had a question or issue, a quick call to the store usually solved the problem.  The whole reason that I wrote this was because when I was driving there, I needed to look up the address.  This brought me to yelp, where I was surprised to find the single star review.  When I read the ridiculous review, which has nothing to do with the store (they only carry premium products, including TEC grouting), I felt I had to write this review. At the end of the day if you want to get great tile at a great price and /or need advice or a critical eye to review anything, Tile wholesalers of Newark, or their sister online store, https://brickcitytile.com/.

I found Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath when searching…read moreonline for nearby places I could visit to compare prices to a quote I had already received from elsewhere. After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved! This is by far the longest review I have ever written. But they are by far one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with so I have to share this information!
