I enjoy learning about places from locals and ran across Old Georgetown SC Walking Tours online. I texted to see if it would be possible to tour the next day and if I could bring my dog. I got a prompt reply offering 2 times to choose from. My dog and I met Paige the next morning across from the clock tower. Paige is a licensed Tour Guide and 7th generation South Carolinian. His expertise in Georgetown history and pride in the town made our time together so enjoyable and enlightening. I am very glad I found this tour. The town has a rich history and was a pleasure to visit. Paige's tour provided information and context and local color that made my visit memorable.
