Thankfully, we found the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is very clean and newly updated. Two smaller pools are well maintained and quiet. Housekeeping services were visible each day to replace towels and anything else we needed. Patricia, Myeisha, Tye, and Katie were amazing. They always had a smile on their face and were helpful in getting us accommodations last minute. Although not right on the beach it is only a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean hotel for their Myrtle beach trip.

There was one way in and out, and it was unsafe on a blind corner. The front desk person seemed to be confused/unaware of the closure of the parking lot. After the first two nights, the entrance and the other half of the parking lot were open. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, housekeeping to maintenance. The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive. The pools were well-maintained. There was always someone cleaning or refreshing the property in some way. The elevators always smelled fresh. It's conveniently located near the mall, Walmart, Costco, multiple restaurants, and more. As previously mentioned, the property is well-kept and clean. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious. I would happily stay here again.

I stayed there at the beginning of Bike Week and had no noise issues. It's not high end, but WELL maintained with upgrades that maintain it's historic charm. Very CLEAN rooms. Prices are competitive, but very reasonable. Saved me some serious cash at an expensive time of the year. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The only drawbacks for me were: 1) that pets are not allowed, but that is great in other ways. 2) for Breakfast you'll need to get in the car or bring in something microwaveable - not really a problem, but something to be aware of. I stayed in one of the motor court rooms that had a little breakfast nook in back with the refrigerator, microwave and table & chair. Don't listen to the 1 star reviews that state it's not safe or put down the furnishings. The furniture is not old and rickety, but in excellent condition and in keeping with the era of the place. I felt VERY safe here as a woman travelling alone and who has put up with some sketchy places before. This isn't one of those at all. I will certainly be staying here when I return to the area.

The one and only complaint is that there were other guests that allowed their children to run up and down the outside corridors well past midnight yelling. If I come back it won't be during Passover, we were told by some of the condo owners the behavior is typical during the holiday.

They also have charcoal grills that we used twice during our week long stay. The property has 2 and 3 bedroom condos. We stayed in a 2 bedroom one. Check in was easy as they use a key pad with a passcode to check into your room. I will say though that the key pad lock was VERY tricky to open and probably needs to be switched out. I booked directly with Anchorage online but I've seen other owners put their condos on airbnb. The pictures online for the condo I booked had a major filter on it because in real person it looked really outdated. Also when I walked in it smelled like old. I don't really know how to explain it but like maybe as if nobody had opened the door in a while to let fresh air in. It had a beachy vibe and decor which I like in vacation rentals however as stated before the decor was outdated. It also felt like a lot of clutter. There was something on every wall and in every corner, it was just overkill in my opinion. My room also had terrible lighting. It was full of lamps however they didn't do much. It wasn't very well lit inside unless I opened the screen door. Not all the condos at Anchorage ll are the same though. Some are a lot nicer but I guess that just depends on the owners. My friend stayed right next to mines but you could tell there were a lot of updates made to that one and was just better maintained. Overall I enjoyed my stay but next time I will definitely book another room

It would've been cool to listen to the ocean from the suite. * No outside, fire-escape stairs from the balconies. * No resort lounge chairs on the beach. * The A/C would stay on for only a limited amount of hours. We had to get up in the middle of each night to put it back on. * No on-site restaurants, only a to-go cafe' * No cleaning/maid service. * No room service. * One of the (outdoor) hot-tubs was closed all week. * The outdoor showers did not work all week (to rinse sand, salt or lotion off before entering pool) * In our reservation notes, it was stated we weren't interested in listening to or taking a tour. They tried to change our minds at check-in and again during our stay. They did not understand "No, we're not interested" and their persistence was annoying. Resort Pros: * Secured locks on the suite door. * Wristbands (for resort guests) were convenient. * Full, stocked kitchen with unlimited supply of dishwasher soap. No supply of kitchen cleanser. * Washer/Dryer set with unlimited supply of laundry detergent. No supply of fabric softener. * Spacious and comfortable suites. * Family friendly! * Location was perfect from attractions, shopping and restaurants.

I booked this spot not for a wonderful beach vacation but because my father passed and I was in town handling his estate. From the jump, before I even booked, I texted the Melton team with questions about the rental. They were incredibly responsive immediately. They were patient with my questions and lack of AirBnB know how. Upon arrival, we found the condo as advertised. Cool AC blowing, fresh line , clean, and inviting. Obviously our first priority was to check out the balcony and listen to the ocean. (little note: Avoid the Myrtle Beach area from Oct 1-7 if you want quiet or have littles that dont tolerate noise well. It was bike week for the first half of our stay. Of course no fault of the Melton team) Aaron and his team go the extra mile. When we walked in, we found a card offering condolences for our loss. It's the little things that make a difference. Only negatives if I had any would be the bike week business (again no fault of the Melton team) and the water pipes make a lot of noise when showering (also not the fault of the Melton team. You wont find a better spot on the beach for the price and the customer service was above and beyond!

It was me and my 3 kids thurs/friday and my friend and her 2 kids come down Sat/Sun and there was plenty of room for all of us. The small kitchen was well equipped with all the basic essentials, plenty of toiletries, towels, bedding etc. The hosts were informative, quick to respond, and very accommodating and made for easy planning, smooth & pleasant stay, and simple checkout! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to my friends, family and others looking for the perfect beach spot to call home while on Vaca!
