Windows!!!!" "No way" there they were. Window Quartz she was ecstatic. I gave her a $4 budget & said pick what you want, she got a lil over but I let it slide since she was putting almost all towards the window quarts she fancied. All in all, this shop is 10/10 would recommend! It's exactly what I needed. Got a few herbs my tisanes "tea" collection was needing, lil cousin & I got matching Hematite rings. It was a great time! So great I even ended up going back on Tuesday for more herbs i had put back or didn't notice & get another hematite ring for my beau! I loved that both times, even though I had the shop all to Myself someone left as I was coming in & someone new came in as I left! Both times, it felt wild like a lucky card almost. Also a great sight to me that, this lil shop hasn't been just getting passed by all the years I have passed by it not knowing what it held. I'm so happy I finally have gone in! Such a delight. Only herb that I was having high hopes for, blue lotus flower , I wish! Sounds like it'll be my toughest one to hunt down yet! There is generally a 24 HR turn around time necessary for blade sharpening. This place is in North Topeka so if you are coming up from the south just cross the river on Topeka Blvd and turn East on St. John street. Head East for about 2 blocks and as you approach Kansas Ave you'll see it to your left. All the shiny new mowers in front should be a give away.

They did a fairly extensive repair on my mower and got it done in half the time they estimated. I will most definitely return when I need service or new equipment. On top of making my mower function the way it did when it was new, the beast was also cleaner than when I dropped it off. No new dirt, oil, grease, etc. My only criticism is that they charge an extra 3% for paying with a card, which is OK, they lose that much to a bank for handling the transaction. The criticism is that they didn't mention that until it was time to pay. A little 'heads up' on that would be great. I'll be down there looking at tillers pretty soon.

I was greeted with some gentleman sitting around enjoying their cigars. The man running the counter immediately greeted me and asked me if he could help me with anything. He gave me a chance to browse around in the humidor for awhile and then politely checked in. They have a great selection of cigars, pipe and other tobaccos. This place has been around Topeka for decades. I will always love this place. If you are in the market for good quality cigars stop in here for sure!!

First, a bit of a backstory: A little over 8 years ago, I brought a poster of Ophelia by John Everett Millais to Framewoods of Topeka. I had an absolutely delightful experience, so when I got a new poster.. this one from a tv show called Doctor Who, I knew I could bring in my new poster and it would get the best care, attention, and dare I say it, love. :) I knew they wouldn't laugh at me for wanting to do something unusual like putting a poster into a frame. I was right. I came in and spoke with Apollonia Jamison, showed her the poster and she instantly started being creative. (I told her a bit of my background with the Ophelia poster.) Gary Blitsch heard my story and came over to check things out. He asked a bit about Ophelia so I had my son take a picture and message it to me. Mr. Blitsch said he remembered it, because it had an unusual cut, just like the original Ophelia painting currently part of the Tate Gallery. Meanwhile, Mrs. Jamison continued to bring out sample frames and matboard and matching them. Mr. Blitsch was familiar with Doctor Who and brought out a frame that I fell in love with. Working with the frame, Mrs. Jamison started filing through colors and laying them on the poster to find the perfect match. And she did! It was an unusual color, but it made the picture snap!! Absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend Framewoods of Topeka and Mr. Blitsch and Mrs. Jamison! They really will make your experience fun and the final results will be amazing!

The one "working" was too busy with friends to wait on me. I finally put my bag down n left. Another lady did the same. I then went to the other B&B Works by Target and oh what a difference. A lady named Kathy immediately greeted me and was so helpful. She even tracked down things i wanted and brought the items to me as I shopped. I will never return to the one on the mall.
