This hobby lobby has a lot to offer, everything I needed was in stock too. I actually grabbed a few more items than intended but that's what happens when I step into the arts and crafts section of this store. I did see a few employees around, so if you need help they are on the sales floor. There was a little bit of a line with only three cashiers open but it did move pretty quickly. I Absolutely LOVE Hobby Lobby I spent thousands on furniture, gifts, and accessories in this store since the day I shopped during their grand opening. Compared to other places the quality of items seem much better. But since they are closed for a good reason on Sundays, I shop at the other stores. Anyway, I just want to say the I came here on a Monday night before closing and there were 2 lines and I was on the one that was not moving. So a young lady came and opened a register but instead of taking customers from the line that was not moving she decided to take customers from the line that was. I am very patient by the way but there seemed to be confusion at the register, but I felt like it would be solved any minute now, so I stayed because I was next. So after 10 minutes I suggested she take customers from my line which means I should have been next. However, she ignored me. Manager was in the front and didn't even say anything. These workers need serious training. Al yssa, please do better to consider what your customers are explaining to you. read more

This store is ridiculously large. It has everything you could possibly ever want for home decor and crafts. Many great items (like walls of them) were on clearance. My son found lots of great cotton t-shits and sweatshirts for a very cheap (and they didn't shrink much when being washed so kudos). We were having a party and found the few fill in items we needed. Next time I rather just go to Michaels rather than come here. I just moved to the area and I'm shopping for my daughter bday. I was looking at iron patches and the workers there were stocking up in the same isle including the manager. They see me walking with my toddler instead of moving away and letting me shop comfortably they were just standing there with boxes which can be a hazard if that's the case close the store down and do your stocking at night or day ugh never again. Also the cashier horrible customer service some people shouldn't even be in customer service with that kind of attitude. read more

Staff are few and far between if you need help with something locked behind glass. We waited for ten minutes and then called the store while we were in the store and heard them page for someone to come help us. 5 more minutes went by, no help came so we just left and went to Walmart ( basically next door ) and got what we needed within 2 minutes. read more

Had an experience today that just really left a bad taste in my mouth towards the store. I bought a total of 5 items. Light up candy canes which I kept, and then I returned an extension cord and 3 hanging supplies by the brand command. These items were overpriced. I could buy the exact same extension cord at Home Depot for $5. I could also purchase the hanging supplies for about $3-5 at Walmart or target. That being said I understand the staff doesn't control the prices. I told Evan I was going to be returning these because of the price his whole attitude shifted and the girl that was with him Kate seemed like they didn't want to help me anymore and advised me to go wait in line for register 1, because "that's the only register that can do returns and exchanges". I went looking for Evan when I saw how long the line was and I called him by his name twice and he fully ignored me and just kept walking. He help somebody else and I waited patiently. I called his name again and I know he heard me but decided he was done helping me and ignored me. i then went to speak to Kate and told her I had just waited in a very long line and she advised me to return back later or Monday first thing when they open. she said she would try to find somebody to open up register 2 because register 2 can also do returns/exchanges. I knew she wasn't going to help me at all and I didn't want to cut the line so I just waited while the food I had ordered had to sit at the restaurant. that being said this place is ran poorly. I understand that during the holidays it can get a little hectic and busy, but if there are only 2 registers that can do returns/exchanges, they should really try to keep one open exclusively for returns and exchanges. That way people who just wanna run in and return something quickly can you get this done without having to wait a 30 minute long line. Went in for a return of fabric. First off it was denied cause i apparently "sewed" the fabric. Well I don't know how to use a sewing machine so that was wrong so I told them go look at your other fabric and you will see all the bottoms look like that. Which they did and said yes okay I see than proceeded to tell me she'll take it back but next time I can't return it and she's doing me a favor cause it's wrinkly. And she had to claim it as a loss. I've worked in retail for 10 plus years so I understand, but if I was told this when I purchased it than I would have steamed it or ironed it. The only thing I was told was to keep my receipt if I need to bring it back. The way this manager spoke to me was deplorable. Talking down to me like I was incompetent. And apparently this isn't the first time she's been rude to customers. Hobby lobby do your self a favor and fire this old lady and hire someone who has the decency to actually treat their customers with respect. read more

2 stars for Christmas shopping. I wanted to decorate my outdoors and indoors with Jesus' birthday. Was incredibly disappointed and honestly mad because I waited all this time and they had decorations of everything but only less than one side of an isle of Jesus' birth! And 1 thing that mentioned Jesus' birth. We have 10 grandbabies and I wanted to support this store. I will give it one more chance next year. Having a Hobby Lobby in the AV is like being a kid 6 year old on Christmas morning and being able to open your gifts! This brand new store is grand and worth it. It's nice and roomy, similar to the Burbank or Victorville location. There are employees in departments, that know their own department. They can direct you to another department and offer great service with a smile. Christian in Home Decor was especially helpful and took time out of his duties to help me find vintage sacks. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find them, but I would give him a star for great service! By the way, because they recently opened the sales are outrageously great! Horrible customer service. It seems like the cashiers just hate to be here. Get a different job if you're so miserable. I have a toddler and was moved from line to line. Waited a total of 30 minutes in one line just to move to the next with a toddler that was losing it. Most frustrating experience to watch them taking their sweet time wrapping things up for the person in front of me. I was kicking myself about not buying a piece of furniture that I feel in love with (on sale!) last week and I came in to buy it tonight and it had been sold! I walked around for quite a while looking for something similar but couldn't find something I liked as much. I almost gave up but stopped by the front just to check. Nesvi ran all the way to the back storage area to check if they had one available and when there wasn't one, they wrote me a rain check. I'm dancing in my seat out of excitement. Today was my first time ever in a hobby lobby and it seemed like a great store with lots of great products. My experience was great all the way up till when we got to the checkout line. They only had one cashier and we were 5th in line so now I felt like I just went to Walmart. As I looked over I see there are two what looked to be managers standing to the side chitchatting. Stood there for about 5 minutes and noticed the cashier was having some kind of issue with the customers purchase. The managers still failed to pay attention to their registers. So I left my stuff and left. I hope to be able to come back again and that they learn not to take after their neighbor Walmart. read more

Expect to wait in line. Glad to have them in Palmdale but they are understaffed. There are more checkout registers than employees.

My parents who are older went into the store to have custom picture frames made .. they had 3 or 4 made, hey spent approximately $500 total. the associate and management was extremely helpful polite took their time in explaining to my parents exactly what options they had how long it was going to take made them feel comfortable.. did not rush them. I really appreciated hobby lobby considering they went to Michael's first and they were rude as hell !! one of the Custom picture frames at Michael's was over $400 . not only is hobby lobby great customer service apparently they have really good pricing on custom frames. read more

What is going on? I agree with all the negative reviews about the employees. I visited las night, got a few things and the cashier was extremely unprofessional. The manager looked like she had had a day. When I went to check out the cashier was giving the manager a dirty look. I completely understand when you don't get along with your boss or workers but at least fake the funk and make the customers feel welcome and happy to have come to your store. I went back just about 45 mins ago today to return an item I had purchased last night and again the cashier (a different, older lady, Mary I think was her name) seemed like she had about had it. This was the only cash register opened and there was a long line. When I told her i was returning an item and purchasing another one her attitude got worse. It must really suck to work here, when you can't even fake a smile. Trust me working with the public sucks I know, but when you have a happy polite customer you return that happiness and politeness, be professional!! I think corporate should really step in and fix the employee problems this store has. It's sad. read more

I have tried to call to confirm products are in stock but was placed on hold for endless hold music. It is a shorter drive than the hold on the phone. Very annoying. Nasty management here. Didn't quite catch the name of the two "managers" here - two older ladies, one with short hair the other with longer - extremely rude and abrasive.
