I make a point of never shopping at Hobby Lobby (too slow, too much cheap junk from overseas) but they had a fabric I particularly wanted for a project, so I stopped there. Music was SO awful, not really classical, more like relaxation music. And too loud!! Clerks were condescending, rude, and unskilled. Waited nearly 10 minutes for one of the many staff members who saw me to come cut my fabric (seriously, how many times do people have to ring that stupid bell to get someone to come to the fabric counter) and she was, obviously, very inconvenienced at being taken away from her standing around to actually DO something. Clerks at checkout had no idea what they were doing, and talked WAY too much about their own kids, houses, churches. Annoying. Personally, if you purchase fabric or want anything of quality for your home, I'd strongly advise shopping elsewhere. read more

My wedding is coming up this week and I went in with my maid of honor to get some last minute decorations for my big day... Unfortunately, I believe we were being very much discriminated against... Sadly, It started when we were in line to get some fabric and a manager oddly came up to us and pulled us out of line from everyone else to aggressively ask how much of that fabric we were "actually" going to use. I told her we needed quite a bit and then she was extremely rude measuring it asking why we needed it. Mind you....I had a Bride headband on and told her it was for "our" wedding.... This is when I believe she assumed I was with my girlfriend and it got much worse. Then the managers following us around and stood close acting like we were going to steal something. It was utterly embarrassing especially considering I bought $200 dollars worth of items... I will never go back. The cashier even asked us if we were "even going to purchase anything" WHILE we were in line with a full cart. I would not suggest this store as I feel they conduct discriminatory practices and are not excepting of all customers. read more

Best Hobby Lobby Store. The service is always super friendly and helpful but the cash register is super slow. They need to update their cash registers. It is not the cashier but the system Hobby Lobby uses. This will enable a faster checkout. read more
