Linda M, the cashier, needs a serious attitude adjustment before she says the wrong thing to the wrong person in her nasty tone of voice. Came in today to purchase a couple of items and as she's scanning them, she mis-scanned some items and I brought it up to her. She began getting nasty with me and was rude but I kept persisting. Then she began mumbling to herself while I was still standing in front of her. You'd think that an older woman would be a little wiser and nicer but that wasn't the case here. If she's having a bad day or something then she needs to go sit down and calm down till she can speak to customers without being rude to them. read more

My daughter is an artist and she loves coming to this Hobby Lobby. Wide variety of items, and they are reasonably priced. It can be difficult to find someone to help you. Thankfully, my daughter was very knowledgeable and she was helping other older patrons, teaching them about oil vs acrylic paint. It was fun to watch. The workers are racist and very unprofessional. I had a cashier to ask me if I wore a shirt and brought it back and proceeded to take the price sticker off and place it further down on the shirt as if I put it back on incorrectly. The shirt was a heather black shirt which was the reason why I returned it. This was the 2nd time in 1 week I've had a bad experience with rude and unprofessional cashiers at this store. The HWY 64 location will not get another cent of my money. I wish I could give this location a 0 star. read more

I wish there was a way to give this location no stars. Today I walked in to buy a pack of fine line pens. I got my pens and walked up to the front where only one register was open even though there were 3-4 employees at the front. When I got in line the lady in front of me was obviously having trouble with the magnetic strip on her card. I waited. Another woman got in line behind me. At this point one of the employees opened another register and then pointed told the women behind me she could check her out. Not once was I acknowledged in the line. The woman in front of me continued to try to use her card and they did not once acknowledge that I was standing in line behind her. At that point, I left. This Hobby Lobby was my most frequented location, but I will not be back. If I need craft supplies in this area I will happily take my business to Michael's. read more

Finally there is a crafts store where (1) people know where things are, and (2) staff knows enough to help you. The staff genuinely sounds like they like to work here (don't tell their bosses), which makes looking around that much more fun. Hobby Lobby is my own personal kryptonite. My husband and my bank account hate any and all trips made by Erica B to the Lobby. It never fails, I immediately discover my inner craft genius and find umpteen million things I absolutely need to create in the confines of my living room at home. From blank canvas to over sized prints and fabulous picture frames- I want it all! They have a great selection of fabrics and artificial flowers as well. I go here to purchase the flowers for the seasonal wreathes I make for our front door. Not only are they a higher quality than what I find at other stores, but they are the cheapest price point out there. All that aside, I think my favorite time of year here is Christmas. They have a great selection of ornaments and decor- and really? You can never get enough Christmas decor! I totally agree with the previous reviewer as well. The staff here is great and they have phenomenal sales. Their picture frames always seem to be marked down to 50% off when I happen to be here. Score! read more

Oh man, if anyone really knows me they know I like to craft! I love Hobby Lobby. It makes me feel more creative and whimsical than I actually am. This place was infinitely helpful for various parts of wedding planning. Little things here and there were picked up and completed the day! Now that I'm married, I browse around for things to decorate our new house. Some things are not exactly my style, but if you do some looking around, you can find really good pieces. They have all kinds of craft supplies as well. There is also a custom framing department. They have cool baking supplies too! I may have fallen in love with this place. They are closed on Sundays. I always forget this, and I end up doing a drive-by and feeling sad. Very rude customer service. A cashier by the name of Christin was extremely curt. A manager asked me to move over to her lane where she was opening her register. I proceeded to put the few items I was buying on the counter. She shoved them away and said she didn't like anything near her money. She was counting her till. My items were no where near her till. I told her the manager told me to come over here. It was not my choice. Had I known the whole transaction would be with a woman with an attitude I would have stayed in the lane I was in. Just ran in there on my lunch break I didn't have time to walk around the whole store. So I ask an associate where an item is even show her a pic she looks at me crazy then instead of finding out she says go ask the art section so I go there and she just says it should be over their and points to an isle instead of taking me to the item. They have several sections including fabric (yay!) , clay , holiday and lots more. Plus they allow use of coupons on books and magazines, unlike their competitor. Yesterday I was at hobby lobby getting some craft supplies for my presentation. However, I had difficulties finding the items in the store; so, I politely asked no one but multiple floor associates. Most or all of the associates that I encountered were very off putting because of the fact that none of them guided me to the items I was looking for but only point general area. As I walked up to the cashier, it began alright; however as time progressed, the cashier's attitude became a little more hostile and her services were crude. Her tone towards me was even more off putting than the floor associates. The matter of fact is that this location has poor service and doesn't accommodate their customers well. Compared to their competitor Michael's, this location is mediocre from the service to the prices. This was not worth my time. read more

The corporate offices are trying to prevent women from access to certain birth control even though this should not be their decision in any way. Women employees seem to be less apprciated than the males, and until Hobby Lobby drops their lawsuit trying to limit choices for women employees I will not shop in any of their stories.
