Don't ever buy gas powered products from Menards. I went to return a self propelled lawn mower…read morepurchased 28 days ago to Menards in Farmington Missouri. The self propelled feature broke during the third time. we used it. The gm at the store was nice enough to read to me what was printed on the bottom of the receipt provided to my wife when she picked it up on 6/28/2026. It essentially says that Menards will only accept returns of gas powered products within 7 days of purchase if UNUSED. We have to find an authorized service center first. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THESE PRODUCTS. After leaving, I called Lowes in Farmington. I was told their policy says that we could return if failure occurs withon 30 days of purchase (just get the gas out of it (which I understand). Menards policy is somewhat deceptive as they print something at the bottom of the receipt with warranty and service information concealed in the box. I guess their return policy on applies to BUYERS REMORSE. Dont put gas in it, Dont try to start it, but decide you you want it within 7 days.
