Food was OK but didn't quite taste like Vietnamese, Korean, or Chinese food. Can't complain since I am in Poland. The food is really great and the menu is quite broad. My particular favourite is the Vietnamese style chicken. I often have it takeaway and use any left-over meat as a sandwich filler. The nem saigonki (spring rolls) are really good too. Be warned, though, that if you order them (you get three) as a starter, you probably won't have room in your stomach for the main course). If you are a lover of sweet things try the exotic drink with lychee (yum!)

These had zero sweetness and I ended up covering them in sugar. I sound like a moany old Brit but after two good reviews I was expecting so much more. Any Chinese takeaway in the UK would have been better. I suggest you try somewhere else I certainly will be on a mission to find a good Chinese (not the female kind)

For excitement, your dish might come on a sizzling plate. Nothing really special, though I'd note that they offer xiu-mai, ha-cao (coming in a broth bizarrely), and pho. The food is tasty but unremarkable. The portions are generous and prices reasonable. I'd give the place an average rating plus an extra star for good service. The lady who works there is quick on her feet and is always super nice.

I bookmarked this restaurant before leaving Tampa because of its authentic looking Taiwanese menu items. It was such a treat to finally try this type of cuisine. It's a self-service restaurant. Just find a seat, browse the menu, and order at the counter. They'll buzz you when it's ready. It wasn't a busy time of day (about 2pm). They actually brought everything to our table. I'm not sure how it works when it's super busy. Our tea drinks were the first to be delivered. My Lychee Green Tea was so refreshing. It had lots of lychee pulp, and definitely very natural. My husband actually liked his black tea. He's not usually a bubble tea drinker so the tea with no boba was perfect for him. We both ordered the Taiwanese Wonton Soup with pork. He decided to go with the menu suggestion of spice level 2. He was very happy with the spice. I added a few drops of Papa Lee's chili sauce to give my soup a little kick of heat. It really does make it more flavorful. The wontons were absolutely delicious & tasty. It was an amazing amount of pork filling. The noodles and wontons are definitely homemade. I love that there was a good amount of bok choy and edamame as well. It was comfort food at its best. I'd order the exact same thing all over again in a heartbeat. I'm kicking myself for not trying the fried chicken. Maybe next time. The atmosphere seemed authentic as well. The shared tables are separated by table dividers. I really like that there are handbag hooks on the wall. That's a nice touch. The backless triangular bar stools are very uncomfortable. That is my only gripe. Why not invest in Japanese ones? Unless it's meant to be that way so that people don't overstay their welcome. Otherwise, the staff were all very polite and service (for self-serve) was great. I thought it was affordable compared to what we pay in the US. Try it for yourself if you happen to be in the area.

Perhaps one could find a decent bowl of pho noodle soup here? I would say the pho at Gia Long is passable. Like all Vietnamese places in Poland, the noodle here is prepared in the Hanoi style. It's much more spartan compared with the Saigon style pho commonly found in the West. No basil. No bean spouts. No onion. Just some chive and beef. Actually, as you can see in the pic, there's no much of the latter either. The broth is decent, however. It doesn't taste like it's made from just bouillon cubes.

I mean c'mon, you are in Poland, you can't expect to get Tokyo quality sushi or shabu shabu. We needed a break from streak of Czech/Polish food tour, so we opted for a Japanese night. We got the shabu shabu dinner set for 2, ordered extra mushroom and udon, overall cost was about $55 per person, which is definitely on the higher end, but the meal helped me to reset my taste bud for more Polish meat and beer later. The food was not amazing obviously, but also not terrible. I find that their tofu was very underwhelming (a little too fermented, so tasted a bit too sour for me), but everything else was pretty standard. The beef is not wagyu quality, but was quite tasty with the sauce. I wish their udon wasn't pre-cooked, but it did taste quite good nonetheless. Overall, Krakow fall weather is quite cold, so this was a nice warm meal that went along with the season. By default their pot is split pot. I wish they only had a single pot because the spicy half was totally wasted on us since neither of us can tolerate spice. Sake was nice, but wish they had warm sake as an option. Ambiance was very Japanese-like with classic Japanese decors. Waitress spoke English and was very attentive to our needs. She refilled our broth multiple times. Overall I would come to this place again if you are craving Asian food in Krakow. But don't expect this place to be like California or Tokyo because you are setting the Asian food bar way too high in Eastern Europe. I had a very nice dinner here and got what I came here for. Definitely a nice break from multiple days of Czech/Polish cuisine.

The ramen and dumplings were just good but nothing extraordinary as I would probably not order the dumplings again. The other rolls I ordered were just okay but I'm used to higher quality sushi places. The place is clean and the servers are nice.
