I have a sole membership with them. I may expand and try other locations, but for now I'm ok with…read morethis one for a quick workout. The location is convenient for me. The facility is big and machines are in working order. They have a turf room for crossfit/free training and on the other side is a half basketball court. They've added a few new machines and I enjoy going into the room whenever it's not too packed. The workers aren't that helpful. When I originally joined, they did a quick walk through of the main area. The rest of the tour was accompanied by the pointing of fingers in different directions as she mentioned the pool, sauna and a cool down room. They don't show you how to use a piece of equipment if you're unsure. On a different day, I had to ask someone about a rope machine in the turf room and the lady responded that she didn't know anything about it. I figured she didn't know much as she was on the heavy side herself and was kicked back behind the counter on her cellphone with another lady not even knowing they had a rope machine lol. They didn't even try to help. Luckily, there was a guy working out nearby who showed me a few things and now it's one of my fave machines. I think they are just unmotivated employees or just bored idk. I complimented an employee who was nice and very different from the rest. She happened to be the manager LOL! I think they may have even said the regional manager but not sure, it was so funny & ironic that I can't recall the rest of the conversation. She's a little tiny thing and she's so helpful and chill. She's usually there when I go after work now. Is she the reason why the tunes are jammin' after 5pm during the week? Any other time the soundtrack is not so energetic. I bring my headphones but I rarely need them when I go around 5-6pm during the week. I recommend you wiping down the equipment as you use it of course. I saw a napkin or tissue on the floor beside one of the ellipticals for 2 days straight, so I'm not sure how often the custodians come through. THE.RESTROOM IS.HORRIBLE.OMG! Some toilets won't flush and are clogged up. The floors have puddles of God knows what kind of liquid. The napkins are all located around the walls in the gym area (you're lucky if they are refilled) and there are only hand dryers available inside the bathroom. There's a Chili's in the parking lot nearby, I usually can use them to change or freshen up instead of using the gym's restroom. I can't comment on the pool and sauna area, the idea of even going gives me the heebies and I don't plan on using these amenities. All-in-all, it's a gym people. Don't expect to smell or see roses. You go and workout then you leave. Just don't be the person who doesn't clean up behind themselves or you'll be part of the problem.

I suffered a fall at the 24 Hour Fitness San Jacinto location that left me with a significant…read moreinjury to my clavicle and shoulder area. Since the accident, I've been dealing with severe pain, multiple doctor visits, an MRI, and ongoing appointments with an orthopedic specialist. There is also a possibility that I will need physical therapy as part of my recovery. What has been most disappointing throughout this entire experience is how poorly the situation has been handled. It took me three separate attempts to file a claim before I finally received a response from the General Manager and was given an incident report number. Since then, I have not received any follow-up communication, updates, or even a simple check-in regarding my condition or claim. Because of this injury, I have been unable to work and have lost income while trying to recover. The physical pain has been difficult enough, but the lack of communication and support from the gym has made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. As a paying member, I expected much better. Instead, I feel like my concerns have been ignored and that I've been left on my own to deal with the aftermath of an injury that occurred at your facility. The complete lack of customer service, urgency, and accountability has been extremely disappointing. At a minimum, I expected someone to follow up, provide updates, or show some level of concern for what I've been going through. I hope no other member has to go through an experience like this. The injury itself has been difficult, but the way it has been handled has made the situation even worse.

Hello all. I would like to share with you my story and the reason I started working out at the Camp…read moreTransformation Center here in Houston (Federal Rd. location). Every day after work, my 15-year-old son would greet me at the door to the house with a basketball in his hand. His words to me were always "...let's play a game of 1vs 1...you and me". My response to him was always "...I've had a hard day at work" or "my allergies are really bad" or "I have work to do upstairs" etc. The real reason I would avoid a basketball game with him was that I had high blood pressure, I was overweight by 55 lbs., and I couldn't even play ball for 15 minutes without almost passing out. I started noticing that he stopped asking me and would play outside alone...or just not play basketball at all. I had to make a change before I caused any more damage to my relationship with my son and even to myself. I had to change my eating habits. I also changed my couch for a walk outside, start moving more on a daily basis. My wife recommended the Camp Transformation Center to me because one of our family members was attending. She spoke well of this place and the hours worked well with my schedule, so I stopped by. I started on May 28th with a 4-week tryout. I told myself, "It's only $49 dollars, I can either lose a few pounds or lose the $49 dollars". Losing $49 dollars wouldn't hurt my pocket that bad and losing weight would be beneficial to me...if I decided to stay for the full 4 weeks. Today is August 16, 2019, and I have not looked back. I weighed myself the day I joined and I was at 255 lbs. I am currently at 238 lbs. (17 lbs. less than when I started). I still don't see the change visually but I now have to wear a belt because all of my pants do not stay on me. I wanted to better my health and try to keep up with my son and I have achieved both. My blood pressure is back to normal and I can play 3 games of 1 vs 1 with my son and still have the energy and capability to go for a quick swim after our game.
