From the moment we called them they were responsive. Both Mark and Don are a pleasure to work with. The work was IMPECCABLE!! And I am a hard customer. they tore out a wall, had the engineer over before that was even done. Our walls were just on studs - the framing was done in 4 days. Not to mention the fact that they were honest. They told me what services I should use them for and when I shouldn't use them. The day before my flooring was supposed to get installed the contractor I hired (not through them) bailed. I called them up and they had a contractor for me by the end of the day and he was there 2 days later to lay my floor. And by the way only went over budget by 2% and that is because we had extra work done not in the original scope. If I am a betting woman, I think they only charges us cost for that.. I just can't say enough about Mark and Don and all Of the contractors that work with them. If you want your Basement or bathroom done affordably and impeccably then I suggest you use them. Please call them and they can give you our number so we can hush some more. AMAZING!!! But don't try to get over on them. I'm saying they're affordable but they have to provide for their families too so I am not suggesting that you try to get something for nothing. OK!!

The few minor problems we had were handled quickly by Wendy in the main office. They don't forget you and have great customer service. Jody and the rest of the people we dealt with from start to finish have been great. Southland built us the home of our dreams. It is quiet inside because of the good insulation and windows. If we don't see a car pull up we don't hear it. You cannot go wrong getting a home built by Southland. Thanks to everyone there for a great experience. One piece of advice. If Jody suggests something you don't think you need you will be wrong. She was right about a circuit we didn't think was necessary and luckily it didn't cost us much to add back in once the electrician explained why it was needed. She suggested some good ideas when we were making changes to the original plans. She is a real pro so listen to her. Todd did a great job choosing what trees might have given us a problem and he was right we lost 8 trees during the big storm but not one was near the house.
