ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PROJECT…read more We previously hired Outer Image in the summer of 2011 for a backyard pergola, patio, and a fire pit, as well as a redesign of our front entry. That project was on budget and on schedule and because of this, the project was very successful. My wife and I both have keen attention to detail and everything was completed with utter satisfaction. We continually were complimented on the overall design of our property and this was due to Steve and his creativity. Fast forward to the summer of 2020, we decided that we wanted to change the pergola out for a covered patio as we wanted an area to sit that was protected from the weather. We had multiple contractors price out the project and ultimately decided to hire Outer Image again. Steve's pricing was competitive; in addition, his design and attention to detail are what made us ultimately chose them again. Since our original pergola was still structurally sound from 2011. Outer image recommended keeping the main structure and just removing the top pergola portion to build the vaulted roof structure. This was a huge cost saving to the budget. Outer Image took care of all of the drawings, designs, and permitting with The Woodlands. As soon as we received approval, they worked with us and the pool contractor to coordinate the schedule, site access, and overall coordination so we could complete both projects on time. There were some roadblocks with typical Houston weather and the Outer Image crew was very accommodating and continued to keep the overall project in line. In addition, any questions that arose during the project were addressed and reviewed directly by Steve in a timely and professional manner with a thorough explanation. During this process, we added some additional scope by changing the original 2011 wood deck to an Azek material, replacing some gas pipes in an outdoor fireplace, as well as adding some lighting and electrical to the new structure. All changes were easy to make and the team at Outer Image was happy to accommodate them. Again, their pricing was fair, their service was top notch and their creativity and problem-solving ability were exactly what we needed for this project. Thank you, Steve and the Outer Image team!

DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORK…read more Sure, they may sucker you in with their deceptive professionalism and competitive pricing and responsiveness. But once you have hired them for more than one job, you'll see their real deal. They are SHADY and lazy. They would STEAL one of my steel T-posts after I told them no when they asked for one multiple times while they were working on my yard (I had several lying around). Only reason why I found out was because I needed to borrow one of their tools after they were about finished and they pointed me to one of their trailers, and the dad thought I'd caught him so he handed me my T-post from his trailer. Let me explain the LAZY part. I'd told them specifically to grind the crepe myrtle roots and stumps really well after they cut them down, because I knew too well how invasive these can be. They said sure sure. Days later and now 4 months later, I'm still dealing with all the huge roots left from the crepe myrtles and bushes they left me with because they were too lazy to grind them well. I also think it's partly because they didn't want to dull their machine etc. Reason why I say that is because I'd asked them 3-4 times while they were working to GIVE ME THE MULCH from the stump grinding etc. They said OK OK. At the end, they gave me nothing. I asked them, where's my mulch...They were like, how much you want? Then reluctantly scooped up a wheelbarrow or two at like 7pm...then said they'd give me pure mulch from their jobs later on (didn't want to stay later). I said, why didn't you grind them and give me the mulch while you were working? Kevin said they didn't want to use their machine too much. So, there you go. They did two jobs for me, over $2000 each time. I spent pretty pennies on them and that's what I got. I debated for a long time whether I should write this because I wanted to let bygones be bygones and not ruin someone's business but I'm too upset. And the world needs to know the truth. You, their potential customers, should know. GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
